Pro-Life Groups Support SCOTUS Nominee Amy Coney Barrett: She’s an “Absolute All-Star”

President Donald Trump today nominated federal appeals court Judge Amy Coney Barrett to be the next Supreme Court justice and that nomination has the strong support of pro-life groups.

“President Trump has chosen an absolute all-star in Judge Amy Coney Barrett to serve as our nation’s newest Supreme Court justice,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “Amy Coney Barrett is a brilliant jurist in the mold of the late Justice Scalia, and President Trump could not have made a stronger selection to fill this Supreme Court vacancy. We have full confidence that the pro-life Senate majority will move swiftly to confirm her before the election.”

Pregnant Mom Diagnosed With Cancer Refuses Abortion, She and Her Baby Survive

by Administrator

Consiglia Varriale was willing to sacrifice her life for her unborn daughter when doctors diagnosed her with breast cancer earlier this year.

Though her doctors advised her to have an abortion, Varriale could not bear the thought of ending her daughter’s life, Aleteia reports.

The 42-year-old from Quarto, Italy chose life for her daughter, Aurora, and today both mother and daughter are doing well, according to the report.

Varriale said she was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was three months pregnant with her second daughter. And, as often happens in such cases, her doctors recommended that she have an abortion so that she could begin cancer treatments, the report states.

Catholic Archbishop: Vote Pro-Life, Nothing More Important Than the “Basic Right — to Live”

As Catholics approach the polls, we are asked to weigh many important issues. The U.S. bishops have reaffirmed that “the threat of abortion remains our preeminent priority because it directly attacks life itself, because it takes place within the sanctuary of the family, and because of the number of lives destroyed.” While they did warn us not to “dismiss or ignore other serious threats to human life and dignity such as racism, the environmental crisis, poverty, and the death penalty,” they did give priority to upholding and defending our brothers’ and sisters’ most basic right—to live.

Abortion tragically ends someone’s life when he or she is most vulnerable and most in need of loving protection.

Abortion is not, and never has been, about women’s equality

by Administrator

Abortion was sold to the American public as a final step in achieving equality for women. But nearly five decades later, legalized abortion hasn’t liberated women.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg believed abortion to be about equality for women. There is no doubt that Ginsburg worked hard for women during her lifetime. Even before taking her seat on the Supreme Court, Ginsburg was fighting for gender equality. She took part in almost 300 sex discrimination cases, ensured that men and women would be treated as equals in estate disputes, fought for women to be allowed to obtain credit cards and loans in their own names, and even helped to ensure that pregnancy discrimination was recognized as a form of sex discrimination.

Megyn Kelly Slams Joy Reid for Attacking Amy Barrett: Stop the “Bigoted Attacks on Catholics”

Journalist Megyn Kelly accused MSNBC’s Joy Reid of “bigoted attacks on Catholics” for comparing the Republican platform to “The Handmaid’s Tale” after Amy Coney Barrett was reportedly selected as the Supreme Court nominee.

Turns out Republicans DO have a platform: The Handmaid’s Tale,” Reid tweeted Friday evening with a clip from “The Handmaid’s Tale” and the hashtags #UnderHisEye and #BlessedBeTheFruit.

Reid’s tweet references media attempts to link a Catholic group associated with Barrett to the fictional dystopian novel “The Handmaid’s Tale.” The book and the Hulu series based on it depict a society controlled by religious extremists who allow leaders to keep concubines for the purpose of forced pregnancy.

Amy Coney Barrett: “A Judge’s Responsibility is to Adhere to the Rule of Law”

There is probably no bigger abrogation of upholding the Constitution and the rule of law as the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision. In it, the nation’s highest court literally read a right into the text of the guiding document for our nation that just isn’t there: the supposed right to kill babies in abortions.

That’s why, when it comes to judicial nominations — and especially nominations to the Supreme Court — pro-life conservatives look for people who respect and understand the rule of law. And the rule of law is a proper understanding of the roles of the three branches of government, a basic Civics 101 primer that legislatures make the law and the court’s merely interpret it when there is confusion.

BREAKING: Trump nominates pro-life, Catholic Judge Amy Coney Barrett to Supreme Court

Today, President Donald Trump announced his pick to replace the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the U.S. Supreme Court. Judge Amy Coney Barrett has been a leading choice for Trump and met with the president at the White House on Monday, the only potential nominee to do so, according to CNN.

Barrett currently sits on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. When she was nominated for that court in 2017, Planned Parenthood submitted a formal letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee opposing her nomination and calling her “dangerous to the health care of people across the country.”

Judge Amy Coney Barrett: “I Love the United States and the United States Constitution”

Federal appeals court Judge Amy Coney Barrett today accepted the nomination from President Donald Trump to serve on the Supreme Court. During her acceptance speech, she promised she would uphold the rule of law and spoke highly of the value of her family.

“I love the United States and I love the Constitution of the United States,” she exclaimed.

“The president has nominated me to serve on the United States Supreme Court. And that institution belongs to all of us. If confirmed, I would not assume that role for the sake of those in my own circle and certainly not for my own sake.

A North Carolina pregnancy help center got a surprise visit from Lara Trump Tuesday, giving the ministry a refreshing boost in its life-affirming work.

Trump visited the HELP Pregnancy Center in Monroe, NC, toured the center, visiting with a client and her baby, learning more about the work performed by pregnancy help centers, and praying with the center’s staff and volunteers.

Trump’s visit gave the center a chance to celebrate its work, but also further educate the president’s daughter-in-law and others, and the center personnel are grateful for the out-of-the blue affirmation of their ministry.

Task force aims to protect children from sex ed programs that ‘groom’ children for sex

(STOPP.org) Racist Planned Parenthood has always had a three-step business plan. The first step uses classroom sexual “education” programs (currently called Comprehensive Sexuality Education) to groom our children to participate in a sexual lifestyle. That is followed by selling our children (either directly or through a government- or corporate-funded program) birth control products at a huge profit. The third step is to take care of “contraceptive failures” by selling abortions.

Planned Parenthood was a pioneer in bringing sex education to the United States. Its racist founder, Margaret Sanger, is credited with writing the first sex education book in the country— What Every Boy and Girl Should Know.

Over 130 Doctors and Scientists Support Colorado Measure to Ban Late-Term Abortions

by Administrator

A Colorado ballot measure to ban late-term abortions gained the support of more than 130 doctors and scientists last week in an open letter.

The group of professionals said the evidence is clear that late-term unborn babies are unique, living human beings who deserve protection, and Proposition 115 would provide that to unborn babies in Colorado, according to the Catholic News Agency.

“As healthcare professionals we are totally aware of the science of human development. The humanity of a 22-week fetus is apparent to each of us. There can be no doubt that the 22-week fetus is fully alive and fully human,” the letter states.

Pro-Life Billboards Taking Over Atlanta

THE PRO-LIFE MESSAGE IS TAKING OVER ATLANTA’S HIGHWAYS

Since we announced our partnership with our friends First Baptist Church of Woodstock, the Cressman and Guy families, and the Life Initiatives & Values group @ FBCW to bring the pro-life message to Planned Parenthood’s doorstep, we have launched TWO brand new pro-life billboards in Atlanta!

We were part of a nationwide messaging study last year examining how to reach middle-of-the-road voters on the life issue. We found that they were particularly impacted by scientific fact that a baby’s heartbeat begins around 6 weeks in the womb and that abortion undeniably stops that beating heart.

Biden, if he is elected, would be the country’s second Catholic president and the first since John F. Kennedy.

The group attacking Biden, CatholicVote, is a conservative faith-based advocacy group that takes issue with Biden’s position on abortion, among other issues.

“Joe Biden’s record makes clear he will not protect our Catholic values or defend our way of life,” CatholicVote President Brian Burch said in a statement. “For Catholics who cherish the Faith and their freedom to live it, a Biden presidency represents an existential threat.”… Read More “Catholic group launches $9.7M campaign against Biden targeting swing-state voters”

You are requested to thank Sanofi-Pasteur for discontinuing unethical Polio vaccine

by Karl Pieleck
I am pleased to announce that the FDA recently approved Sanofi Pasteur’s request to switch from using an aborted fetal cell line (MRC-5) to using an ethical animal cell line to produce its polio combination vaccines Pentacel and Quadracel. The drug company has also chosen to discontinue production of its stand-alone polio vaccine, Poliovax, which also used MRC-5 for its production, and to retain another stand-alone polio vaccine, IPOL, that is ethically produced. Furthermore, Sanofi-Pasteur’s ongoing effort to develop a vaccine for COVID-19 also does not rely on cell lines linked to elective abortion.

As you may already know, the only vaccines readily available in the United States for some contagious diseases (e.g.,

Overruling Roe

In a recent dissenting opinion, Justice Clarence Thomas explains how the so-called right to abortion was invented ‘out of whole cloth’

On June 29, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a 5-4 decision inJune Medical Services v. Russo, striking down a Louisiana law requiring abortion doctors to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital. The law in question was very similar to one in Texas that the Court declared unconstitutional in a 2016 case.

Pro-Abortion Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Dies at 87

Pro-Abortion Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Dies at 87

The Supreme Court says pro-abortion Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died of metastatic pancreatic cancer at age 87. Her death will undoubtedly set off a massive campaign to determine her replacement and President Donald Trump may fight aggressively to appoint her successor — whether he is re-elected in November or if pro-abortion Joe Biden wins.

Should President Trump be able to name a replacement, the new SCOTUS justice will likely be someone who upholds the rule of law and isn’t willing to go along with left-wing judicial activism. That would make it much easier to uphold pro-life legislation saving babies from abortion — and could realistically make it possible to envision the overturning of Roe v.

Mother of Premature Baby Born 70 Years Ago Knits 70 Hats for Premature Babies in the Hospital

by Administrator

A woman who gave birth to a premature baby 70 years ago has knitted 70 hats for premature babies in the Forth-Valley neo-natal unit as part of a heartwarming thank-you to the NHS.

Mary Stellstrom from Falkirk was 18 years old when her daughter was born two months prematurely 70 years ago in 1950.

Her daughter Barbara weighed in at 2lb 12oz. Mary has described how her baby never would have survived without the dedication and hard work of the midwifery team at the Falkirk hospital.

As a heartwarming gesture, Mary who is a mother of four, has spent her time in lockdown knitting tiny hats for the premature babies being cared for in the Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the Most Anti-Catholic Ticket in History

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the Most Anti-Catholic Ticket in History

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden is trying to appeal to Catholic voters by touting himself as a devout Catholic who believes in loving “your neighbor as yourself” and protecting “the least of these.”

But his increasingly radical pro-abortion policies and his choice of Kamala Harris as his vice presidential running mate contradict the faith to which he professes. Now, political and religious leaders are urging voters to look past the empty political rhetoric and see the dangerous anti-life, anti-religious freedom policies that Biden and Harris support.

Terry Schilling, executive director at American Principles Project, described Biden and Harris as “the most anti-Catholic slate in recent American history” this week in a column at The Federalist.

Faith wobbles sometimes; what counts is calling for God’s help, pope says

Faith wobbles sometimes; what counts is calling for God’s help, pope says

VATICAN CITY — Everyone, including the pope, experiences trials that can shake his or her faith; the key to survival is to call out to the Lord for help, Pope Francis said.

“When we have strong feelings of doubt and fear and we seem to be sinking, (and) in life’s difficult moments when everything becomes dark, we must not be ashamed to cry out like Peter, ‘Lord, save me,’” the pope said Aug. 9, commenting on the day’s Gospel story in his Angelus address.

In the passage, Matthew 14:22-33, Jesus walks on the water of the stormy lake, but the disciples think they are seeing a ghost.
