The West Texas City of New Home (Population 351), located about 18 miles south of Lubbock, has become the 15th city in the nation to outlaw abortion by the passing of an enforceable ordinance prohibiting the act of abortion within the city limits.

The vote to outlaw abortion took place on Tuesday, September 29th, and after over an hour of discussion, the vote was unanimous. As a result of the vote, no unborn children will be able to be murdered by abortion in the quickly growing city of New Home, Texas.

WARNING, Graphic Content: Three facts that debunk the myth of ‘safe abortion’

by Administrator

On September 28, abortion advocates marked what they call “International Safe Abortion Day.” But they were celebrating something that doesn’t exist and can never exist. Safe abortion is a myth.

Safe Abortion Day was first celebrated in Latin America and the Caribbean in the 1990s, but in 2011, the Women’s Global Network for Reproductive Rights declared September 28th as an international day of celebration. In Mexico, “celebrating” looks an awful lot like protesting and setting police officers on fire because abortion is not fully legal in the country. Abortion is an act of violence that fuels even more violence.

Abortion is a violent act of killing

Abortion can never be safe because for at least one of the human beings involved, abortion results in death.

Dallas late-term abortion business calls 911 for woman with excessive bleeding

by Administrator

An abortion facility in Dallas, Texas, owned by late-term abortionist Curtis Boyd sent a woman to the emergency room last month. Operation Rescue, which obtained the 911 Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) printout, reported that the 30-year-old woman was taken from Southwestern Women’s Surgery Center to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital to be evaluated. Her current status is unknown.

According to the CAD report, the woman was experiencing excessive bleeding, which prompted facility staffers to call 911. While she was awake and breathing, the CAD report said she was also experiencing “fever, cough, or shortness of breath.” While it is unclear how far along in her pregnancy she was, the only service Southwestern Women’s Surgery Center offers is abortion, so the most likely explanation is that she experienced some kind of complication.

Ohio Democrat Endorses Trump, Thanks Him for “Ensuring The Success Of The Black Community”

Democratic Ohio state Rep. Bernadine Kennedy Kent endorsed President Donald Trump on Tuesday for president and then greeted him aboard Air Force One before the first presidential debate.

Kennedy Kent praised Trump for low black unemployment rates and for his support of historically black colleges, in a statement earlier in the day. Then Kennedy Kent and her husband went on Air Force One to meet Trump in Cleveland before the debate against Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.

“We all recognize that gainful employment and economic development is the best deterrent against violence and social unrest, so I want to thank President Trump for his commitment to ensuring the success of the Black community in every way,” Kennedy Kent said in a press release.

Joe Biden: I’m Guided By “What You Do to the Least of These You Do to Me.” But I Support Abortion

by Administrator

Joe Biden spoke at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner last night, which is a prominent event for Catholics. Biden likes to talk about his devout faith and used the occasion to tell Catholics about one of his favorite Bible verses, which seemed disingenuous since he supports abortion.

During the dinner, Biden shared how a famous Bible verse is a guide for how he approaches politics and public policy.

As the Register Citizen reported, Biden said his time in politics has been guided by the tenets of Catholic social doctrine: “What you do to the least among us, you do unto me.”

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy Introduces Bill to Legalize Abortions Up to Birth

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy introduced legislation Friday to expand abortions in his state amid speculation that the U.S. Supreme Court may overturn Roe v. Wade.

The Democrat governor and his wife joined Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg, Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle and other state lawmakers in supporting the Reproductive Freedom Act, which would keep abortion on demand legal in New Jersey even if Roe is overturned.

“As access to health care and the right to choose are under attack at the federal level, we will support, defend, and protect reproductive rights here in New Jersey,” Murphy said. “The Reproductive Freedom Act will remove barriers to reproductive health, as well as expand access to contraception while reaffirming choice.”

Joe Biden Tells Christians He’s the “Clear Moral Choice,” But He Backs Abortions Up to Birth

Christian leaders criticized 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden for “deceptive ads” highlighting the former vice president’s faith to Catholic and Evangelical voters.

Biden’s campaign is launching a seven-figure ad buy in October targeting religious Americans, Religion News Service reported Thursday, featuring three new ads and two 30-second television spots running on Evangelical and Catholic programs.

“We are running these ads to highlight to faith-motivated voters that Joe Biden is the clear moral choice in this election,” Josh Dickson, the Biden campaign’s faith engagement director, told Religion News Service in a statement. “Religious voters matter to this campaign and are a key part of our broad, diverse, and robust coalition.”

The annual Life Chain brings pro-lifers together in their local communities to pray for an end to abortion and share the truth about life in the womb. Now in its 33rd year, the outdoor event began in California and since has spread to more than 2,000 cities, large and small.

Typically, the event is held on the first Sunday in October, or Respect Life month. This year, however, because of Covid-19, organizers made several changes.

President Donald Trump’s announcement he and first lady Melania Trump tested positive for COVID-19 “is a sobering reminder of our shared vulnerability, but also our common responsibility for the good of one another,” Chicago Cardinal Blase J. Cupich tweeted Oct. 2.

“As we continue to pray for the full recovery of all those suffering from COVID-19, we now include President and Mrs. Trump & all those recently diagnosed,” the cardinal said.

Despite my struggles after being adopted from an orphanage in China, I would not change a thing

Despite my struggles after being adopted from an orphanage in China, I would not change a thing

Disclaimer: The opinions expressed in this guest post are solely those of the author and are not necessarily reflective of Live Action or Live Action News.

I was born on October 28th, 2002, in China. I was immediately abandoned, and was found the next day at a train station in China with my umbilical cord still attached. While I obviously don’t remember these events, this is significant trauma for anyone to experience. The police sent me to an orphanage where I spent almost the first full year of my life in a crib, resulting in a flat head and impaired brain development.

Congress members call for investigation of Planned Parenthood’s illegal use of partial birth abortion

(LifeSiteNews) Led by Congressman Roger Marshall, M.D., 49 members of Congress have sent a letter to U.S. attorney general William Barr calling for an investigation of abortionists who violated the Partial Birth Abortion Ban passed in 2003. This information has been corroborated in testimonial videos published by the Center for Medical Progress.

Marshall, who represents the 1st District of Kansas, stated that “as a pro-life American and OB/GYN who worked for over 25 years to save the lives of both mothers and babies, it is beyond sickening to see and hear confessions of such heinous acts being committed in our country.”

President Trump Condemns Abortions on Babies With Down Syndrome: They “Deserve Love”

by Administrator

President Donald Trump issued a powerful message this week about the value of individuals with Down syndrome in America.

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month, and an estimate 250,000 Americans have the chromosomal abnormality. Some go to college, while others own businesses and work as models, actors and artists. Some get married, and many serve as advocates and spokespeople for people with disabilities.

But even more would be alive today if they had not been discriminatorily aborted — something President Trump condemned in his message today.

“As our society progresses toward a more inclusive future, there are still those who pass judgment on which lives are worth living.

American Medical Association Joins Planned Parenthood to Promote Killing Babies in Abortion

by Administrator

The American Medical Association is advocating openly for the on-going destruction of human lives in abortions.

On Thursday, it joined Planned Parenthood, the ACLU and other pro-abortion groups in a petition urging the U.S. Supreme Court to strike down President Donald Trump’s Protect Life rule, The Hill reports.

The Title X rule requires Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers to completely separate their abortion businesses from their taxpayer-funded services. That mean housing their family planning services in separate buildings with separate staff from their abortion businesses and a denial of funds if they fail to do so. Planned Parenthood refused to comply and gave up about $60 million federal funding.

Tennessee prosecutor refuses to enforce law to inform women of abortion pill reversal

by Administrator

(LifeSiteNews) – At least one prosecutor in Tennessee is refusing to enforce the state’s duly-enacted law requiring that women seeking abortion pills be given information on how to reverse them should they change their mind.

Among other provisions, the pro-life omnibus law enacted this summer requires anyone dispensing abortion pills to inform women about the technique of Abortion Pill Reversal (APR), as well as post the information in the waiting areas of any facility that commits more than 50 abortions per year. Failure to comply could result in a $10,000 civil penalty as well as a felony charge.

Catholic Bishop: Christians Must Vote Pro-Life to Oppose the “Intrinsic Evil of Abortion”

by Administrator

Cleveland Catholic Bishop Edward Malesic urged Christians to vote to oppose the “intrinsic evil of abortion,” which has claimed 62 million unborn babies’ lives in America.

WLTX News 19 reports Malesic wrote a letter to Catholics in his diocese Wednesday advising them about the upcoming election.

While the bishop said Catholics should not be “single-issue” voters, he emphasized that other issues “flow from and are rooted in the fundamental right to life itself,” according to the report.

“Our bishops have said, and I agree with them, that ‘the threat of abortion remains our preeminent priority because it directly attacks life itself, because it takes place within the sanctuary of the family and because of the number of lives destroyed,’” Malesic wrote.

Pro-life organization works to help Georgia and Virginia women and families in need

It is not unusual for abortion to be framed as the only choice for women facing unplanned pregnancies, or for families in need struggling at the prospect of another baby on the way. Yet life-affirming options are available. Though they are frequently maligned by the abortion industry, pregnancy resource centers can mean the difference between life and death for a preborn child, and a helping hand both during and after the pregnancy. Yet part of the problem many face is knowing how to navigate the many resources available during an unplanned pregnancy. A new organization, endorsed by the American College of Pediatricians, has stepped in specifically to help with that.

Pregnant Mom Diagnosed With Cancer Refuses Abortion, She and Her Baby Survive

by Administrator

Consiglia Varriale was willing to sacrifice her life for her unborn daughter when doctors diagnosed her with breast cancer earlier this year.

Though her doctors advised her to have an abortion, Varriale could not bear the thought of ending her daughter’s life, Aleteia reports.

The 42-year-old from Quarto, Italy chose life for her daughter, Aurora, and today both mother and daughter are doing well, according to the report.

Varriale said she was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was three months pregnant with her second daughter. And, as often happens in such cases, her doctors recommended that she have an abortion so that she could begin cancer treatments, the report states.

Abortion is not, and never has been, about women’s equality

by Administrator

Abortion was sold to the American public as a final step in achieving equality for women. But nearly five decades later, legalized abortion hasn’t liberated women.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg believed abortion to be about equality for women. There is no doubt that Ginsburg worked hard for women during her lifetime. Even before taking her seat on the Supreme Court, Ginsburg was fighting for gender equality. She took part in almost 300 sex discrimination cases, ensured that men and women would be treated as equals in estate disputes, fought for women to be allowed to obtain credit cards and loans in their own names, and even helped to ensure that pregnancy discrimination was recognized as a form of sex discrimination.
