G7 Summit Group Wants to Expand Killing Babies in Abortions Worldwide

The Group of Seven (G7) Summit is taking place in the UK from June 11-13 under the presidency of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson with an aim to “build back better from coronavirus, uniting to make the future fairer, greener and more prosperous.”  Last year’s G7 Summit under the presidency of President Donald Trump was postponed indefinitely due to the pandemic.

One of six official G7 engagement groups is Women 7 (W7) which is described as bringing together “women’s rights advocacy groups from the G7 countries and around the world committed to women and girls’ rights.”  Its objective is “to ensure that G7 leaders adopt concrete commitments that lead to a tangible, lasting and transformative impact on women and girls’ lives in 2021 and beyond”.

Mom Rejected Doctors’ Advice to Abort Her Son With Down Syndrome, Now He’s “Thriving”

Koh Sui Tin, a mother from Singapore, has recently spoken out about her experience of having a son with Down’s syndrome, and the influence doctors have in whether a woman has an abortion after a doctor informs her that there is a high probability of the child being born with the condition.

In an open letter to The Straits Times, Tin recounted how she was told during the first trimester of her pregnancy that there was a “very high chance of my baby having a chromosomal abnormality”.

She said her doctor advised that she should have an abortion because of “all the challenges that my child would potentially have…”.

The Women’s Pavilion in South Bend, Indiana, was the workplace of the infamous abortionist Dr. Ulrich “George” Klopfer. After his death in 2019, the remains of 2,246 preborn babies were found hidden in his garage, and police later found even more bodies in one of Klopfer’s vehicles.

Serena Dyksen — founder of She Found His Grace abortion recovery ministry — stepped through the doors of the now-closed and for-sale facility on June 4 for the second time. She had been taken to Dr. Klopfer as a 13-year-old child to abort a pregnancy resulting from a sexual assault. This latest visit, however, was for an entirely different reason.

David Egan, a 43-year-old with Down syndrome, believes no dream is too big.

He has spent his entire life proving that any dream is attainable, including for those with intellectual disabilities. His latest feat is writing his own memoir, “More Alike than Different,” an inspiring story of his life, which has been devoted to advocating for himself and others with disabilities.

According to an interview with CBS Evening News, when Egan got the idea of writing a book, it was suggested that his mother, Kathleen Egan, write it. But she knew her son was up to the challenge.

“I said, no, no, he has to write his own book.

TODAY: Congressional Democrats Push for Federal Abortion Takeover in Deceptively Named “Women’s Health Protection Act”

by Administrator

“The deceptively named ‘Women’s Health Protection Act’ is an extreme federal takeover that would directly attack the rights of the American people to enact and enforce pro-life laws through their duly elected legislators,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser.

“Washington Democrats are dramatically out of touch when it comes to abortion. Americans nationwide want to humanize our laws by passing reasonable limits on abortion, not expand abortion on-demand by a federal mandate that would block existing protections for women and their unborn children.”

Republicans Kill Pelosi Bill to Promote Killing More Babies in Abortions

Republicans Kill Pelosi Bill to Promote Killing More Babies in Abortions

In a House of Representatives controlled by Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democrats, it’s difficult for Republicans to secure any legislative victories. But they achieved one Tuesday night when they were able to use parliamentary tactics to block a bill that would have promoted killing more babies in abortions at taxpayer expense.

House conservatives came up with a way to derail a bill Pelosi and her pro-abortion cohorts attempted to fast-track through the House to the Senate. The measure, called the Equal Access to Contraception for Veterans Act, would have facilitated government-funded access to abortion drugs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Steve Scalise: “We’re Going to Fight With Everything We Have” to Stop Democrats’ Abortion Funding

As NRL News Today readers know so well, there is seemingly nothing the Democrat-controlled Congress and the Biden-Harris administration won’t do for their compatriots in arms, the Abortion Industry.

That  includes even going after the Hyde Amendment which has saved over two million lives and that has been a mainstay for decades, even when Democrats wielded all the arms of power. It meant and means, with very limited exceptions, no federal dollars  to pay for abortion.

Last week, in describing “the Administration’s radical left turn,” Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) said

It touches much more than just infrastructure policy. In fact, it includes an unprecedented new threat to the basic dignity of human life.

Pregnant and homeless at 17, she chose life and built her own successful business

Pregnant and homeless at 17, she chose life and built her own successful business

Today, Jodie Gray is a successful businesswoman with a website that supports hundreds of small businesses across the United Kingdom. But her journey started off differently from most — alone, scared, pregnant and homeless.

Originally from London, Gray and her family moved to France for a few years. After relocating back to the UK, she was 16 and alone. She had no job, no place to live, and was struggling with her mental health. It was a year later that she became pregnant and, according to the Plymouth Herald, she felt “alone and completely worthless.”

Many teen girls and women in her situation — pregnant and homeless — would have felt they had no choice but to go through with an abortion and would likely have been pressured into undergoing one.

Abortion Activists Admit Most Late Abortions Aren’t for Medical Reasons

Abortion Activists Admit Most Late Abortions Aren’t for Medical Reasons

Mother Jones, a left-leaning outlet hostile to the lives of children in the womb, recently published an article about abortions after 15 weeks, sometimes called “late-term” abortions. A Mississippi law protecting children 15 weeks and older from abortion will come before the Supreme Court in the fall.

Author Becca Andrews criticizes her fellow abortion advocates’ approach:

You’re familiar with the milieu, which goes something like this: Abortions after 15 weeks are rare, and these are heartbreaking cases where the pregnancy was wanted and something went horribly wrong.

But the reality is, these are simply medical procedures given to those who need them.

Democrats Want to Make Killing Babies Up to Birth a National Law, And They Want You to Fund It

Democrats Want to Make Killing Babies Up to Birth a National Law, And They Want You to Fund It

Democrats seem to have found a use for Congress again. After years of relying on the courts to do their dirty work, the far-Left has had to find other solutions after Donald Trump spent the last four years balancing U.S. benches. Now, suddenly, more liberals have seemed to awaken to the fact that there’s a legislative branch too, and they’re spilling all of their ink urging fellow abortion activists to use it. “The Supreme Court may toss Roe,” the Washington Post tries to comfort its Leftist readers. “But Congress can still preserve abortion…”

It’s an ironic twist from the last several decades when the Democratic Party turned to activist judges to change the governing policies of the nation they couldn’t rewrite democratically.

Feminists Lose in Illinois as Pro-Abortion Bill for Secret Teen Abortions Dies

Illinois teens and their unborn babies will remain protected under a state law that requires underage girls to notify a parent before having an abortion.

Earlier this year, state lawmakers introduced bills in the Illinois House and Senate to repeal the 1995 state parental notification law.

This week, however, the state legislative session ended, and lawmakers did not act on either bill, the Belleville News-Democrat reports. The pro-abortion legislation never advanced out of committee.

There is a chance the bills could be resurrected. The report did note that lawmakers could consider action during a special session later this summer on emergency legislation.

A case for parental notification: Teen left with baby parts in uterus after botched abortion

An emergency room doctor tasked with removing the remains of a 16-week-old preborn child from the womb of a 14-year-old girl after a botched abortion is calling for the Illinois Parental Notification Act to remain intact.

In an op-ed for the Chicago Sun-Times, Dr. Robert Lawler, MD, FACOG said he was wrapping up his on-call shift in a suburban Chicago obstetrical emergency room when a call came in telling him he was needed in the ER immediately. A 14-year-old girl was in critical condition after developing sepsis, an often-deadly blood infection. She was suffering with a fever, rapid heart rate, and excruciating abdominal pain.

7 brave mothers who risked their lives to save their preborn babies

7 brave mothers who risked their lives to save their preborn babies

Becoming critically ill while pregnant can be devastating. While high-risk conditions associated with pregnancy often don’t occur until later in the pregnancy — allowing the preborn child to be delivered prematurely so the mother’s life can be saved — conditions unrelated to pregnancy, such as cancer or ALS, can be diagnosed at any time.

Some cancer treatments are safe during pregnancy, but some are not, and these mothers chose to forgo their own life-saving care to allow their babies a chance at life.

Planned Parenthood Mar Monte (PPMM), which was at the center of an undercover investigation into Planned Parenthood’s trafficking in aborted body parts, could soon be granted $2 million in federal taxpayer dollars for projects that involve “relocation and renovation” assistance.

Democrats are Working With Abortion Activists to Try to Silence Pro-Life Americans

Democrats are Working With Abortion Activists to Try to Silence Pro-Life Americans

Democrat prosecutors have been working with abortion activists in New York and California to silence pro-life advocates who work to save unborn babies from abortion.

The Federalist recently highlighted two examples, one being an on-going New York case against pro-life sidewalk counselors that began in 2017. The other, more widely-known to the pro-life movement, is California prosecutors’ attempts to silence David Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress after they exposed Planned Parenthood’s aborted baby body parts trade.

“The two cases, although separated by flyover America, unite in their lesson: The truth about abortion must be silenced, and powerful people will try to ensure it is,” Federalist writer Margot Cleveland wrote.

Missoula, Montana Backs Down After Trying to Stop Pro-Life Woman From Praying at Abortion Clinic

Missoula, Montana Backs Down After Trying to Stop Pro-Life Woman From Praying at Abortion Clinic

A peaceful Missoula, Montana, pro-life advocate has been vindicated following erroneous and unconstitutional charges made by a city law enforcement officer. The charges against Marilyn Hatch were dismissed after Thomas More Society attorneys sent a demand letter to the Senior Deputy City Attorney of Missoula pointing out that the ordinance the charges were based upon is unconstitutional.

“All people have the right to peacefully give their opinions about the dignity of unborn human life outside abortion facilities. The City of Missoula’s  decision to criminally charge Mrs. Hatch for engaging in speech protected by the First Amendment was itself unconstitutional,” declared Thomas More Society Senior Counsel Matt Heffron.

Abortions Increase 24% in Iowa as More Babies are Killed With the Abortion Pill

Abortions Increase 24% in Iowa as More Babies are Killed With the Abortion Pill

Abortions rose dramatically in Iowa in 2019 as abortion facilities pushed dangerous abortion drugs on women and their unborn babies.

The Gazette reports a new state health report shows a 24-percent increase in abortions in 2019, a change from the steady decline in abortions over the past decade.

In total, 3,542 abortions killed unborn babies in Iowa that year, according to the data. The increase came despite a decline in the number of abortion facilities in the state, down 33 percent from 2014 to 2017, according to the Gazette.

One clue about the rise in abortions may be the increase in drug-induced abortions.

If Black Lives Matter, Liberals Should Stand Against Killing Black Babies in Abortions

If Black Lives Matter, Liberals Should Stand Against Killing Black Babies in Abortions

Sometimes, no matter how wedded to “choice” someone may be, reality peeks its way through the clouds of slogans, disinformation, and illogic.

Enter Getty Israel, a Black woman, whose op-ed for the [Jackson, Mississippi] Clarion Ledger is headlined, “Abortion Rate disparities: I’m pro-choice but I can’t ignore statistics.”

Israel, founder and executive director of Sisters in Birth Inc., located  in Jackson, straightforwardly establishes her thesis in her initial sentence:

Pro-choice people like me often decry the rates of premature births and infant mortality among Black babies while remaining silent about the abortion rate disparities among Black women.

Later while affirming her “pro-choice” credentials

Black women should maintain their constitutional right to decide when to carry a pregnancy to term.

Mom Refused Abortion When Doctors Said Her Son Had a Heart Defect, Later It Disappeared

Amber Casey, a mother of two, refused to abort her child because of a heart defect identified by doctors. Now her son is healthy and happy after the defect disappeared.

Amber has no regrets about her decision to let her baby live.

In 2019, Amber had a prenatal scan 20 weeks into her pregnancy, revealing that her son, Orton, had congenital heart disease (CHD), which affects one in 100 babies.

Amber was told that the left side of Orton’s heart was smaller than the right side, meaning that he might not live past the age of five. Multiple surgeries would almost certainly be required.

Pro-life group buys parking lot across from abortion clinic amid threat of buffer zone

A Toledo, Ohio pro-life group is taking a creative approach to the city’s anticipated ban on sidewalk counseling. Catholic News Agency reports that the organization Foundation for Life has raised enough funds to purchase a parking lot across the street from the city’s sole abortion facility, Capital Care of Toledo. The $35,000 purchase will allow sidewalk counselors to sidestep any city ordinances and legally minister to women who park in the lot to visit the facility.

According to 13ABC, women often park in the lot by mistake. In the past, abortion facility escorts would meet these women at their cars, trying to distract them from the sidewalk counselors nearby who hoped to share a pro-life message.

Hillary Clinton Applauds Teen Who Used Graduation Speech to Promote Killing Babies in Abortions

Hillary Clinton Applauds Teen Who Used Graduation Speech to Promote Killing Babies in Abortions

Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton praised a teenager Wednesday for secretly switching her valedictorian speech in order to criticize a new Texas law banning abortions after an unborn baby has a heartbeat.

The former First Lady tweeted her support for Lake Highlands High School valedictorian Paxton Smith, who pulled an unapproved valedictorian speech from her bra at the lectern on graduation day and delivered a speech about Texas’s Heartbeat Act.

“This took guts,” Clinton tweeted. “Thank you for not staying silent, Paxton.”

The new Texas law bans abortions after the unborn baby has a heartbeat. By the end of the fourth week of pregnancy, according to the Cleveland Clinic, the unborn baby’s tiny heart tube will beat about 65 times a minute, and a heartbeat can be detected by about six weeks.

Scientists are Making “Frankenstein” Babies Who are Part Human, Part Monkey

Federal lawmakers are trying to ban the creation of human-animal hybrids, or chimeras, after scientists in California and China were discovered injecting human stem cells into monkey embryos for experiments.

The Washington Times reports U.S. Sen. Mike Braun, R-Indiana, a lead advocate of the legislation, said these potential “Frankenstein” experiments raise serious ethical questions and undermine the sanctity of human life.

“I mean, any of us could speculate on kind of the Frankenstein concept, let’s put it that way, which that was being referred to as in terms of what this leads to,” Braun said. “I do believe that there’s a genuine interest in taking so much that we’ve learned through DNA analysis, understanding the genome of not only human beings but other animals, that there’s going to be that [temptation] contagion to go beyond maybe just the altruistic effort of finding cures for very, very vexing ailments like ALS, like Alzheimer’s …”

In April, an international team of scientists published an article in the journal “Cell” describing how they created embryos with human and monkey cells.

Bishop: No Communion for Pro-Abortion Politicians Who “Reject Fundamental Teachings of the Church”

Two Catholic bishops urged the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops this week not to delay plans to create a new document to give guidance about Communion and Catholic politicians who openly advocate for the killing of unborn babies.

The Catholic News Agency reports Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco and Archbishop Samuel Aquila of Denver lamented that some bishops want to postpone action on the document.

“I’m deeply grieved by the rising public acrimony among bishops and the adoption of behind-closed-doors maneuvers to interfere with the accepted, normal, agreed-upon procedures of the USCCB,” Cordileone told CNA in a statement Tuesday.

He said the bishops should have an open debate about the matter, and he criticized attempts to “derail the process.”
