WWMIN met LaToya through The Hope Center and Cathy Zingler. She was pregnant with twins, on bedrest and about to lose her apartment at the end of July 2022. Dad of twins, Julius, was unsure of the role he would play. She did lose the apartment, went into pre-term labor, and was admitted to Kennestone Hospital on July 31 where she remained under careful observation until the birth of her twin girls, Juliana and Julani on August 23, five weeks early. Meantime, her older daughter, Brayah, was sent to live with her father in Ohio. Julius stayed with LaToya at the hospital until she was discharged.… Read More “Latoya”

Abortion Pill is Not Safer Than Tylenol, Study Shows It Causes 107 Times More ER Visits
Abortion activists keep saying that abortion pills are safer than Tylenol, ignoring how their very purpose is to kill unborn babies.
Millions of unborn babies have been killed with the abortion drug mifepristone, or RU-486, since its approval under the Clinton administration. Currently, it is used for almost half of all abortions in the U.S., according to the Guttmacher Institute.
Growing evidence shows that the abortion drug is not safe for mothers either – certainly not safer than over-the-counter pain relief medication, as the pro-abortion movement and some news outlets claim.
A study from the pro-abortion research group Gynuity provides evidence that the claim is false.
Maine Abortions Drop 7.2% as More Babies are Saved
Maine’s 2021 abortion report was published simultaneously with its 2020 report by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services. This report covers Maine’s most recent data, from 2021. The report indicates that abortions decreased from 2020 to 2021.
Statistics and Changes in Maine Abortions, 2020-2021
The report does not include information on Planned Parenthood’s Maine abortion market share.
Abortion Totals and Trends
There were 1,915 abortions reported in Maine in 2020, down 7.2 percent from the 2,064 reported in 2020 (Fig. 1). Similarly, chemical abortions decreased as well, by 19.8 percent, from 1,445 in 2020 to 1,159 in 2021.The Charlotte Lozier Institute (CLI) estimates that Maine’s abortion rate in 2021 was 8.0 abortions per 1,000 women ages 15 to 44 and decreased from 2020’s abortion rate of 8.7, a decline of 8.8 percent (Fig.
The real reason why some women are ‘freaked out’ after taking the abortion pill
A recent article in Vox featured an interview with Linda Prine, an abortionist who founded the Miscarriage and Abortion Hotline. Her comments were revealing – perhaps quite a bit more so than she intended them to be.
Commenting on the changes she has seen at her hotline since the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade, Prine stated:
[T]he difference now is that many of our callers are later in their pregnancies, because they’re getting their [abortion] pills from overseas. They’re ordering pills from online pharmacies, and they come sometimes with no directions.
Doctors Told Mom to Abort a Disabled Twin, She Refused and Both Babies are Doing Great
Abortion comes up so frequently as a medical option when an unborn baby has been diagnosed with a disability.
But an abortion does not treat or heal the baby or the mother. It just kills the child because their body does not function the way it should. Thankfully, many parents reject this “option,” including Marie Stockdale and Paul Kipling, of Penrith, Cumbria, England.
According to Derbyshire Live, doctors suggested an abortion after a 20-week ultrasound scan showed problems with their daughter Ava’s brain and esophagus. Later, Ava was diagnosed with a rare brain condition called rhombencephalosynapsis, her mother said.
“Because the condition is so rare, doctors had no idea how severely it would affect her, and I was offered a termination,” Stockdale said.
Four Doctors Groups Tell Federal Court to Pull Abortion Pill From Market, It’s Dangerous for Women
Four national medical associations and four doctors experienced in caring for pregnant and post-abortive women filed a brief Friday in federal court that pushes back on the Food and Drug Administration’s arguments against withdrawing or suspending its approval of chemical abortion drugs that harm women and girls.
In November, Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys filed suit against the agency on behalf of the Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine, the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American College of Pediatricians, the Christian Medical & Dental Associations, and doctors Shaun Jester, Regina Frost-Clark, Tyler Johnson, and George Delgado.
“By illegally approving dangerous chemical abortion drugs, FDA officials put women and girls in harm’s way, and now it’s high time they were held accountable for their reckless actions,” said ADF Senior Counsel Erik Baptist.
Pro-abortion students at Vermont university shout: ‘We want to see them dead!’
A group of pro-abortion students at the University of Vermont protested a pro-life student display by shouting that they want to see preborn humans dead.
Students for Life of America (SFLA) Northeast Field Operations Coordinator Savannah Craven brought the Human Rights Tabletop to the university to educate students on abortion, and at first, the display went well. “Our morning started out beautifully as we had conversations with both sides of the aisle of the abortion issue,” Craven wrote in a blog post for SFLA. “However, it slowly turned into an angry pro-abortion mob that had as little respect for us as they do for the preborn.”
