Democrats’ Omnibus Bill Gives Planned Parenthood 6 Million After It Killed 383,000 Babies

Democrats’ Omnibus Bill Gives Planned Parenthood $286 Million After It Killed 383,000 Babies

by Administrator

The massive full-year government funding bill that Democrats have proposed contains a huge gift of taxpayer funds for the nation’s largest abortion business.

The bill still must be passed by the House and Senate and signed by Joe Biden, but the expectation is that a measure will eventually get to his desk over Republican objections and that the Planned Parenthood funding will remain intact.

As pro-life Congressman Dan Bishop pointed out on Twitter, the bill contains over $296 million for the abortion giant.

That is a huge chunk of change for an abortion business that is already raking in the dough hand over fist.

Most Americans are worried these days about inflation, their life savings, crime, open borders and education. But for some, the issue of abortion looms large.

“Hysteria” is the only word that accurately describes what some champions of abortion are saying. Why the sky hasn’t fallen is a mystery. Here are some examples.

During a conference this fall, Vice President Kamala Harris opened her remarks at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles by noting “when I’m traveling around the country, one of the feelings that I hear most is fear. It’s fear.” She later said, “there’s a lot of fear.”

County Bans Christmas Decorations in Employee’s Homes

The most outrageous offender of this year’s Christmas and Hanukkah season and Becket’s 2022 Ebenezer Award winner is King County, Washington, for banning holiday decorations in employee video backgrounds. In a memo sent last month, the county’s Department of Human Resources told employees that they should not display nativity sets, menorahs and other religious holiday displays because they could be offensive to their colleagues.

The announcement, entitled “Guidelines for Holiday Decorations for King County Employees,” told county employees that religious symbols could not appear in their video backgrounds. While images of snowflakes, wreaths, and pine trees are still permissible, the grinch-like King County HR department has made it its mission to erase religious emblems from the online workplace this holiday season.

The multi-billion-dollar tech corporation Microsoft has been complaining about a workforce shortage while at the same time promoting the killing of unborn babies in abortions.

In a column at The Christian Post, financial economist Jerry Bowyer exposed the company’s contradictions after he participated in the annual shareholders meeting recently. Microsoft is one of dozens of companies that began offering abortion “benefits” (travel, lodging, meal expenses, etc.) in response to the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade.

“It’s good that Microsoft recognizes that we have a demographic crisis,” said Bowyer, the president of Bowyer Research. “It’s not so good that they’ll pay for the expenses of people who abort their children.

Every day, 2.4 million people tune in to watch Dr. Phil give mental health advice. Described as the top mental health show on TV, it is widely trusted by many Americans because Dr. Phil examines some of our society’s difficult issues.

Abortion is among the most difficult issues, which might be why the show addressed it twice this fall. To Dr. Phil’s credit, he generated a legitimate, straightforward debate; unfortunately, he also did a disservice to millions of suffering women when he dismissed their after-abortion grief.

“There is absolutely no evidence for any post-abortion syndrome,” Dr. Phil told Live Action’s Lila Rose.

Since 1973, Guttmacher has recorded 12.2 million more abortions than the CDC

Since 1973, Guttmacher has recorded 12.2 million more abortions than the CDC

by Administrator

Since 1973, the Guttmacher Institute has counted 12.2 million more abortions beyond the published totals reported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), creating a significant abortion data disparity. The data reveals that between 1973 and 2020, over 60 million abortions have been reported by Planned Parenthood’s former “special affiliate” while nearly 47.8 million were reported by the CDC.

This discrepancy is due to a failure by Congress to mandate comprehensive federal reporting of abortion data from all abortion providers in every state. Currently, as things stand, each state decides whether or not to mandate the reporting of abortion numbers and even abortion-related injuries.

The world is flat. People are property. Tobacco is harmless.

Like many other long-held but misguided beliefs, over time these ideas were proven wrong. Consequently, people and societies function differently, in light of what we’ve come to know to be true.

Let’s consider another strongly held belief: preborn life is an insignificant clump of cells, mere tissue possessing no inherent dignity.

This belief was held by early advocates for abortion who regarded the origin of human life to be an unsolvable mystery. Denying the humanity and personhood of the fetus was foundational in the January 22, 1973, Roe v. Wade decision.

The Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts decided on December 19 to reject a challenge to Massachusetts prohibition of assisted suicide by finding that there is no right to assisted suicide in the Massachusetts Constitution.

EPC-USA is incredibly pleased by this decision. EPC-USA was the only only group to submit a friend-of-the-court brief and also provide an oral argument before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.

The Massachusetts The case known as Kligler v Healy concerns Dr Roger Kligler is living with prostate cancer and seeking death by assisted suicide and Dr Alan Steinbach who is willing to prescribe a lethal drug cocktail for Kligler to die by assisted suicide.

Live Action ridiculed pro-abortion corporations for claiming to be pro-woman while subtly pressuring them to abort their unborn babies in a new satire video this week.

In the wake of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, dozens of major companies like Disney, Amazon and Dick’s Sporting Goods began offering abortion “benefits” to prove how “woke” and pro-woman they are, Live Action president and founder Lila Rose said.

“Women in the workplace are being lied to by their employers, who are claiming female empowerment by offering to pay a mother to end the life of her child, which in fact is the most demeaning and degrading thing to happen to someone,” Rose said in a press release.

Nine siblings have set a world record as the largest number of babies to be born together and survive.

And after more than a year in the hospital, the Mali nonuplets finally were deemed well enough to go home this week, the TODAY show reports.

The 19-month-old siblings and their parents, Halima Cissé and Abdelkader Arby, are from the western African country of Mali, but they spent nearly two years in Casablanca, Morocco at a hospital that specializes in high-risk pregnancies and premature babies, according to the report.

When their parents traveled to Morocco before the babies’ birth, they said both they and their doctors had thought they were pregnant with seven babies.

When Diane Ferraro — the first female CEO of pro-life organization Save the Storks — was just five years old, she recalls her adoptive parents telling her she was specially “chosen” to be their daughter.

Ferraro told Live Action News, “Seeing myself through their eyes of love made me proud to be adopted. In the ’60s and ’70s, families kept quiet about adoptions, but my parents were very open about it. I had a wonderful childhood, for which I’m grateful.”

Growing up in a loving environment influenced Ferraro’s pro-life stance and helped to set the course of her pro-life activism years later.

Pro-Life Landlords Sue to Kick Abortion Biz Out of Its Building That Lied to Get Lease

Two Virginia landlords just filed a lawsuit against a new abortion business on their property, saying they were deceived into thinking it was a family medical practice.

Cardinal News reports landlords Chase King and Chadwick King said they “morally oppose” abortions and never would have signed the five-year lease with Bristol Women’s Health if they had known its primary work is aborting unborn babies.

Last week, the Kings filed a lawsuit against the abortion facility, owner Diane Derzis and abortionist Wesley Adams in Bristol Circuit Court, asking a judge to dissolve the lease, according to the report.

They accused the abortion workers of “willfully” hiding the true nature of their business, and said they have “suffered great financial loss and lost business opportunity; been forced to suffer in its reputation and endure humiliation within their business and social circles; [and] been required to endure great mental anguish,” according to the lawsuit.

Father Frank Pavone: “I Will Not be Canceled.” I Will Not Stop Fighting Abortion

Father Frank Pavone says he will not be canceled and will keep fighting to protect babhies from aboritons. This come after millions of pro-life advocates were outraged over the weekend to learn of the Vatican’s decision to dismiss Father Frank Pavone.

In a new statement, Pavone says he still hasn’t officially been informed by the Vatican of his dismissal despite a November letter circulating online confirming it.

Pavone told LifeNews he rejected the idea that there is “no possibility of appeal.”

“Of course there is. I am appealing to the People of God, who are becoming wiser to all that is going on and who will be the judges of whether the work my 50-person team at Priests for Life and I do is worthy of support or not.

Tennessee lawmaker claims abortion is needed to treat ectopic pregnancy — but is it?

by Administrator

Tennessee lawmakers are mobilizing to add exceptions to the state’s trigger law, which protects preborn children from abortion. One senator mentioned the need for abortion exceptions due to medical necessity, specifically in reference to ectopic pregnancy — but an induced abortion and a treatment for ectopic pregnancy are not the same. Induced abortion involves the intentional killing of a child, and is not medically necessary to protect the life of the mother.

State Senator Richard Briggs told WTVF he would support exceptions to save a woman’s life. “It puts me in a difficult position,” Briggs said. “About 1 in 50 to 1 in 100 pregnancies will be tubal pregnancies that can rupture, and that’s one of the leading causes of death in pregnant women: is a ruptured ectopic pregnancy.

Christian doctors sue New Mexico over forced participation in assisted suicide

by Administrator
(Alliance Defending Freedom) Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys representing a Christian doctor and the Christian Medical & Dental Associations sued the state of New Mexico Wednesday for enacting a law that requires doctors to facilitate physician assisted suicide in ways that violate their religious convictions and professional ethics.

The federal lawsuit explains that, despite historic condemnations of assisted suicide, New Mexico enacted the Elizabeth Whitefield End-of-Life Options Act in 2021. The law requires physicians who are conscientious objectors to facilitate suicide by informing patients about assisted suicide and referring patients to physicians and organizations who will participate in ending their lives. If physicians decline to participate based on their religious beliefs or professional ethics, they can face substantial criminal, civil, administrative, and professional liability, including risking losing their medical licenses.

Flawed study claims pro-life state laws lead to higher rates of maternal death

A study just published by the Commonwealth Fund, which claims that states that have banned or restricted abortion have higher rates of maternal and infant deaths than states that protect abortion, is flawed. According to Dr. Michael New, Research Associate of Political Science and Social Research at The Catholic University of America and an Associate Scholar at the Charlotte Lozier Institute, the study actually “fails to provide any meaningful evidence that protective pro-life laws lead to worse public health outcomes.” (emphasis added)

“The U.S. Maternal Health Divide: The Limited Maternal Health Services and Worse Outcomes of States Proposing New Abortion Restrictions” correlated groups of data without proving actual causation, yet was cited by multiple media outlets.

Nurse sues to halt abortions at VA hospitals after supervisor orders her to participate

by Administrator

In September, the Biden administration mandated that abortions be committed at Veterans Affairs (VA) hospitals — approving abortions for pregnant veterans and their dependents in hospitals on federal property, even in pro-life states where preborn children are protected. But a new lawsuit is seeking to have that rule overturned.

Stephanie Carter is an Army veteran, and a nurse practitioner at the Olin E. Teague Veterans’ Center in Temple, Texas. On Tuesday, news broke that she is suing the Department of Veterans Affairs over the abortion mandate, arguing that it violates her beliefs. The current rule does not allow for religious exemptions, according to Carter, who said her supervisor refused her request to opt out of handling and distributing abortion pills.

The spate of vandalism targeting pro-life pregnancy centers continued over the weekend in Michigan.

Early Saturday morning, someone vandalized Pregnancy Aid Detroit in Eastpointe and a local pro-life leader’s home in Grosse Pointe Woods, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Approximately 50 pro-life pregnancy resource centers have been set on fire, vandalized and threatened since May, and at least as many more pro-life organizations and churches have been targets of pro-abortion violence in response to the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade.

Over the weekend, the name “Jane’s Revenge,” a violent pro-abortion group, was spray-painted on an exterior wall of Pregnancy Aid Detroit along with the words “liars” and “fake clinic,” according to the report.
