Major Pro-Abortion Group is Imploding as Abortion Activists Fight Each Other for Control

NARAL Pro-Choice America, a group that helped usher in legalized abortion on demand, appears to be imploding.

Last year, staffers accused NARAL president Ilyse Hogue and other leaders of racism, according to Fox News. Hogue later left the organization.

Now, The Huffington Post reports the pro-abortion group’s 11 state affiliates are upset after the national board of directors announced plans to take away some of their power.

According to the report: “HuffPost first heard about the issue from a spokesperson and a lawyer representing the interests of all 11 affiliates. They said they weren’t meaningfully included in the decision and are being pushed out of the network at a time when state issues are more important than ever.”

Planned Parenthood CEO Thinks Killing Babies in Abortion is “Loving Thy Neighbor”

Planned Parenthood CEO Thinks Killing Babies in Abortion is “Loving Thy Neighbor”

Alexis McGill Johnson, leader of the billion-dollar abortion chain Planned Parenthood, claimed Tuesday that a pro-life Texas law that could save tens of thousands of unborn babies from abortion isn’t about “loving thy neighbor.”

Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion groups filed a lawsuit Tuesday against the the Texas Heartbeat Act, Senate Bill 8. The law prohibits abortions once an unborn baby’s heartbeat is detectable, about six weeks of pregnancy.

Speaking about the lawsuit with MSNBC host Joy Reid, Johnson slammed Texas lawmakers for trying to be intentionally cruel when they passed it.

Chip Roy: “Whims Of Unelected Lawyers In Black Robes” Shouldn’t Decide if Unborn Babies Live or Die

Republican Texas Rep. Chip Roy issued a statement Wednesday condemning a federal lawsuit against the Texas Heartbeat Bill.

Roy attacked a lawsuit against the Texas Heartbeat Bill filed by pro-abortion groups. The Texas Heartbeat Bill bans abortions after six weeks. According to The Mayo Clinic, this is the point when an unborn baby develops a heartbeat. Roy’s office released the following statement against legal challenges to the bill.

“Abortion extremists are once again on parade to the courthouse in their latest attempt to block a democratically passed law because it dares to protect innocent, unborn children from the lies of the abortion industry.

Americans Should Have the Final Say Over Abortion, Not the Courts

Americans Should Have the Final Say Over Abortion, Not the Courts

When the Supreme Court hears from the parties in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization in its next term, the arguments will concern the constitutionality of a Mississippi abortion law protecting life after 15 weeks of pregnancy. At stake will be the right of the people to speak through their elected leaders on the protection of vulnerable life and women’s health.

The Supreme Court recognized a right to terminate pregnancy in 1973, and the court has been clear that the right is not absolute. But that isn’t the end of the story. The people act on legitimate interests through their elected legislators when they pass laws and their elected governors when they sign them.

Missouri Fights in Court to Uphold Ban on Abortions of Babies With Down Syndrome

Missouri Fights in Court to Uphold Ban on Abortions of Babies With Down Syndrome

Missouri soon may be allowed to protect unborn babies with Down syndrome from discrimination after the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals granted an en banc rehearing Tuesday regarding a state pro-life law.

Bloomberg Law reports the full Eighth Circuit agreed to review an appeal on its own motion Tuesday, meaning “no party to the case requested the full court to review.”

In June, a three-judge panel on the Eighth Circuit decided that the law, which prohibits discriminatory abortions on unborn babies with Down syndrome, likely would be found unconstitutional and refused to lift a lower court ruling blocking it.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt filed an appeal to the U.S.

WATCH: Six years ago, pro-life investigators exposed the gruesome market for aborted body parts

The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) is marking the sixth anniversary of the release of its original undercover video series exposing Planned Parenthood’s role in the harvesting and trafficking of aborted children. On July 14, the group released a new summary video of its undercover reporting, as well as a re-release of the uncut video footage capturing top Planned Parenthood executives discussing the harvesting and selling of aborted baby body parts.

The newly released summary video seeks to refute the claims made by Planned Parenthood and its media and Congressional allies that much of the original footage was “heavily edited” and “doctored” — assertions which were proven false by two independent forensic investigations in 2015, the same year the videos were launched.

New Study Confirms Abortion Doesn’t Help Women Facing Financial Problems

New Study Confirms Abortion Doesn’t Help Women Facing Financial Problems

new peer-reviewed study of 2,162,600 Medicaid beneficiaries in 17 states with state taxpayer-funded abortion shows that “rapid repeat pregnancy” (defined as a second pregnancy within 2 years) is most common among women who have abortions.  Contrary to the narrative that abortion eases financial or personal problems for pregnant women, the new study authored by Charlotte Lozier Institute scholars suggests that the pressures to undergo a first unwanted abortion are likely to persist.

“The Medicaid data was consistent with other studies showing that up to 64 percent of women feel pressured by others into unwanted abortions and only a minority of aborted pregnancies are unwanted,” said Dr.

The Abortion Pill is Injuring Thousands of Women and the FDA Doesn’t Require Any Reporting

Chemical abortions (via the abortion pill) are increasing rapidly in the United States. Among the states that have released chemical abortion data for 2019, chemical abortions jumped almost 12 percent from 2018. That trend is unlikely to slow, with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) suspending an important element of its safety regulations on the abortion pill mifepristone to permit its distribution through the mail. Despite the dangers that mifepristone can pose to women, the drug is now widely available with almost no medical oversight.

Complications are significantly underreported

As chemical abortions in the U.S. increase, complications will likely increase as well, but abortion complication data in the United States is spotty.

Washington State is Trying to Make Churches Pay to Kill Babies in Abortions

Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys representing Seattle-area Cedar Park Church will be available for media interviews Friday following oral arguments before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit in Cedar Park Assembly of God of Kirkland v. Kreidler.

The appeal follows a district court order that dismissed the church’s lawsuit against Washington state officials. The church is challenging a nearly unprecedented state law that forces places of worship to cover elective abortions in their health insurance plans despite religious objections.

“Churches must be free to operate according to their religious convictions, including the belief that human life begins at conception and is sacred,” said ADF Legal Counsel Elissa Graves.

Mom Refuses to Have Abortion to Finish College, Graduates Anyway

A young woman was terrified when she became pregnant. Lacking support from her boyfriend, she almost aborted her baby – but love triumphed. Brittany shares her story.

Brittany’s pregnancy was unplanned. When she found out and told her boyfriend, informing him that she might abort their child, he was relieved and even encouraged the abortion.

But Brittany began to have doubts about abortion, especially when she researched online testimonies of women who regretted killing their unborn babies.

“I Googled everything, so I decided to look up what occurs during an abortion, as well as the physical and emotional effects”, Brittany recalls.

Dutch Doctors Euthanize Mentally Disabled Patients Without Their Consent

Dutch Doctors Euthanize Mentally Disabled Patients Without Their Consent

Dutch euthanasia enthusiasts always pretend that doctors there commit homicide by lethal injection “only as a last resort” when nothing else can be done to eliminate “unbearable suffering.” What a pile of manure!

As I have been documenting over the past 28 years (!), euthanasia in the Netherlands has metastasized from killing the terminally ill, to the chronically ill, to people with disabilities, to the elderly, to people with dementia, to the mentally ill, to children of any age, and babies born with serious disabilities. Yes, under the bureaucratic “Groningen Protocol,” Dutch doctors commit infanticide.

The latest apologia is published in JAMA Internal Medicine in response to an article demonstrating that the “slippery slope” in the Netherlands is very real.

How Can Joe Biden be a “Faithful Catholic” and Force Americans to Fund Abortions?

How Can Joe Biden be a “Faithful Catholic” and Force Americans to Fund Abortions?

President Joe Biden, supposedly a “faithful Catholic,” wants to force Americans to participate in evil by forcing taxpayers to pay for the elective killing of unborn babies in abortions.

Yet, as Newsmax writer Rick Hinshaw noted in a column this week, somehow the U.S. Catholic bishops are the ones receiving the bulk of criticism for just considering refusing to give Communion to pro-abortion politicians like Biden.

Hinshaw challenged Catholics who are criticizing the bishops to ask themselves if they are just as offended by Biden’s plan to force millions of pro-life Americans “to actually participate in the killing of unborn children through our tax dollars.”

Two women suffer medical emergencies within five days at California Planned Parenthood

Two women suffer medical emergencies within five days at California Planned Parenthood

The Planned Parenthood in Walnut Creek, California, had to call 911 twice within five days in May 2021, after two young women suffered medical emergencies at the abortion facility. Each of the cases was listed as a Code 3, which indicates a possible life-threatening condition, according to Operation Rescue, the pro-life watchdog group that broke the news of the incidents.

The first of the two emergencies occurred on the afternoon of May 14. A Planned Parenthood employee called 911 for a 20-year-old patient who was said to be in serious pain with moderate but persistent bleeding following her abortion.

“There’s a patient we did an abortion for who is in — having uncontrolled pain and keeps bleeding,” the employee told the 911 dispatcher.

Baby Girl Given Just Minutes to Live After Birth, Now She’s 3 and Doing Great

Baby Girl Given Just Minutes to Live After Birth, Now She’s 3 and Doing Great

A three-year-old from Northern Ireland is thriving at home after her mother rejected advice from doctors to have an abortion.

Doctors did not expect Karlie, who was born with Encephalocele – meaning part of her brain was poking through a hole in her skull – to live for more than just a few minutes.

They advised her parents, Gemma-Sarah and Kyle, to consider an abortion.

But they refused to give up on their daughter and now Karlie continues to defy expectations.

Three-weeks after her birth, Karlie underwent a four-and-a-half-hour operation to cut away the protruding part of her brain and close the hole between her eyes.

UCSF’s callous abortion harvesting operations exposed in records obtained by pro-life group

UCSF’s callous abortion harvesting operations exposed in records obtained by pro-life group

Pro-Life San Francisco has long been protesting UCSF and related institutions which operate under the university’s banner for their gruesome experiments involving fetal tissue and body parts, including recent experiments involving humanized mice, as well as the egregiously inhumane second-trimester abortions which supply those fetal parts. UCSF receives millions of taxpayer dollars to conduct these experiments, which hardly resemble any legitimately purpose-driven science.

Abortion survivors and viability

Fetal body parts are being harvested under the UCSF umbrella from babies aborted at the two UCSF-affiliated Women’s Options Center locations. Studies show that the labor induction abortion techniques used in these facilities to procure “fresh” parts can result in live births as often as 50% of the time.

Texas mom gives birth to rare set of twins after high risk pregnancy: ‘It’s a blessing’

Texas mom Rima Aldebbeh got quite a shock when her first prenatal ultrasound revealed she was having twins, but that wasn’t her only surprise. The ultrasound also revealed that the two babies shared the same amniotic sac and the same placenta, a phenomenon known as monochorionic-monoamniotic twins, which is seen in less than 0.1% of all pregnancies.

“It occurs in less than 1% of all identical twin pregnancies and less than 0.1% of all pregnancies in general,” Dr. Julia Flowers, OBGYN and chairman of the department of medical ethics at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Grapevine told NBC 5.

Nashville couple adopts little girl with severe disabilities: ‘We are the luckiest parents’

A Nashville couple is sharing the story of how they came to adopt their daughter, who has severe disabilities. Folk and country singer-songwriter Sean McConnell has written for superstars like Tim McGraw, Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, and others. He’s been nominated for a Grammy award for his song “Daughters,” which was performed by Little Big Town. But one of his greatest accomplishments is being a father.

In a profile by the Tennessean, McConnell and his wife, Mary Susan, shared the story of how they adopted their daughter internationally. They had decided to adopt from Ghana, a country in western Africa, but struggled over the notion of accepting a child with disabilities.

Mom Scheduled an Abortion But Changed Her Mind and Saved Her Baby

Mom Scheduled an Abortion But Changed Her Mind and Saved Her Baby

I gazed at the photo, overwhelmed by the sight.

It was a picture of a precious newborn baby girl—a girl who could easily have not been here, were it not for a woman who was willing to reach out to a pregnant woman with love, compassion, and hope.

The girl’s mother had scheduled an abortion. Her baby girl is alive because the appointment was never kept. Why? The woman had changed her mind. Why? She’d been empowered to make a life-affirming decision by the support offered by another mother at a crucial juncture.

The photo captured the baby girl sleeping peacefully, unaware of the drama that led to her birth.

On Tuesday, July 20, 1976, I drove myself to the Harrisburg abortion clinic. A woman I knew from the National Organization for Women had made the appointment for me. I waited until they called my name, and then I saw the “counselor.” She was young (early twenties) and asked me whether I wanted an abortion. All I could do was sob. She then handed me a tissue and said, “Poor baby.” That was the extent of my counseling.

People Around the World are Starving to Death, UN Wants to Give Them Abortions Instead of Food

More than 5 million children died across the world in 2019 from preventable causes, according to the World Health Organization.

Add to that the approximately 46 million unborn babies who were aborted and the total number of preventable children’s deaths was a staggering 51 million.

Yet, the United Nations seems to be making matters worse for children, not better.

While “the world’s poor are dying daily due to limited access to hospitals, medicine, and proper treatments, the United Nations is exhibiting a preoccupation with pushing countries to legalize abortion,” said Neydy Casillas, the vice president of International Affairs for Concerned Women for America.

‘There was blood everywhere’: Woman says Planned Parenthood misled her about abortion pill

The website AbortionPillRisks.org features the testimony of Kay, a pro-abortion woman who had a nightmarish experience with the abortion pill. Kay shared that Planned Parenthood misled her about what taking the abortion pill would be like.

In 2006, Kay underwent a surgical abortion. When she faced another unwanted pregnancy in 2013, she called Planned Parenthood. She was less than five weeks pregnant, and they told her it was too early for her to have an abortion. She made an appointment for two weeks later.

When she arrived for her appointment, Planned Parenthood staff showed her a video about the abortion pill.
