Abortion Clinic Injures 20th Woman in Botched Abortion, Tries to Hide Injuries From 911 Dispatcher

For the twentieth time in the past ten years, a woman was transported to a hospital emergency room from the Preterm abortion facility in Cleveland, Ohio.

The most recent abortion-related medical emergency took place on Friday, July 16, 2021, when an ambulance was called to Preterm for a 24-year-old woman who was suffering from “extreme hyperemesis,” a condition where pregnant women vomit to the point of weight loss and/or dehydration, according to 911 records obtained by Operation Rescue.

“The Preterm caller was acting strangely, as if she was reading from a script when she was describing the initial condition of the woman and using terms to disguise the nature of her emergency,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue.

Feminist Says It’s Better for Poor Children if Their Siblings are Killed in Abortions

Fashion magazine Marie Claire outraged pro-life advocates over a piece Friday advocating for Hollywood to depict more parents having abortions, arguing it was a better reflection of reality.

In her analysis, author Danielle Campoamor noted that while there was an increase in abortion storylines in film last year, it has “done nothing to remedy the discrepancies between the fictional characters who have abortions and real patients who seek out the services.” What film and television should be showing, she argued, is fewer teenagers and more parents having the procedure. “Parents are the most common abortion patients,” she adds in an accompanying tweet.

Pregnancy Center Saves Babies From Abortion Right Next Door to Abortion Clinic

Pregnancy Center Saves Babies From Abortion Right Next Door to Abortion Clinic

For more than two decades, a Kentucky pro-life ministry has been helping moms choose life for their babies right next door to the largest abortion facility in the state.

Kentucky Today reports BsideU for Life in Louisville served more than 650 women in 2020, providing encouragement and support through their unplanned pregnancies.

Since 2000, the pregnancy center has been a ray of hope to women near the EMW Women’s Surgical Center, one of two abortion facilities in the state. BsideU for Life and the abortion facility share a wall, and Monica Henderson, executive director of the organization, said theirs can be a “a very contentious block.”

Gene Editing is Dangerous and Fraught With Moral Concerns

Gene Editing is Dangerous and Fraught With Moral Concerns

More and more, we’re hearing about the promises of gene editing. It’s a scientific technology that literally allows us to rewrite our DNA. Still in the experimental stage, with technologies like CRISPR, we’ve seen how the technology can be used wrongly. It can put humanity at risk. Many Christians are not aware of the biological challenges until it’s too late.

In this week’s What Would You Say? video, my colleague Brooke McIntire walked us through ways Christians can think about gene editing, and here’s what she had to say:

In recent years, talk of gene editing has become extremely popular. Gene editing technologies like CRISPR promise not only to eradicate disease and disability, but also to provide human enhancement and designer babies.

Catholic Bishop Defends Denying Democrat Communion Because He Voted Pro-Abortion

New Mexico Catholic Bishop Peter Baldacchino defended his decision Monday to refuse Communion to a pro-abortion lawmaker who voted to keep abortion on demand up to birth legal in their state.

The Daily Wire reports a spokesperson for Baldacchino at the Catholic Diocese of Los Cruces spoke publicly about the matter after state Sen. Joe Cervantes, D-Las Cruces, criticized the bishop in a post Saturday on Twitter.

Cervantes said the bishop refused to allow him to participate in the sacrament during a Friday evening Mass because of his “political office” and his parish priest indicated that he will do the same.

Unborn Babies Sue Rhode Island to Stop New Law Legalizing Abortions Up to Birth

Unborn Babies Sue Rhode Island to Stop New Law Legalizing Abortions Up to Birth

It’s a unique situation when eligible voters team up with preborn babies to fight a violation of their constitutional rights. That’s exactly what’s happening in Rhode Island, as the current United States Secretary of Commerce and her former Rhode Island leadership team are being sued by adult voters and children in utero.

The Thomas More Society has filed an amicus curiae (friend of the court) brief in a lawsuit against Rhode Island’s former governor Gina Raimondo and her administration. The filing is in support of voters, pre-born babies, their mothers, and Catholics For Life, Inc. The brief, submitted to the Supreme Court of Rhode Island on July 15, 2021, argues that voters and preborn children have standing to challenge the constitutionality of Rhode Island’s 2019 Reproductive Privacy Act, which the plaintiffs say deprived them of their right to vote on an alleged constitutional right to abortion and robbed the babies of their legal rights as a person.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott Signs Bill to Ban Abortions, Legally Protecting Every Unborn Baby

Texas Governor Greg Abbott Signs Bill to Ban Abortions, Legally Protecting Every Unborn Baby

Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed another pro-life bill in Texas on Tuesday, one that would completely ban abortions as soon as the U.S. Supreme Court allows states to do so.

Abbott signed the Human Life Protection Act (House Bill 1280). Sometimes referred to as a “trigger bill,” the legislation would protect unborn babies by banning abortions completely or as much as the U.S. Supreme Court allows when it overturns Roe v. Wade. The ban would go into effect 30 days after the Supreme Court rules. Exceptions would be allowed for risks to the mother’s life or a “substantial impairment of major bodily function.”

Politifact Confirms University is Conducting Research Using Body Parts From Aborted Babies

In a round-about way, an independent fact checker confirmed reports this week that the University of California San Francisco is harvesting the genitals of aborted babies and using them for research.

However, readers were given the opposite impression in the PolitiFact article, which began with: “No, UC San Francisco Is Not ‘Harvesting’ The Genitalia Of ‘Murdered Babies’” The fact checker examined a report by Live Action News, which broke the story about UCSF earlier this month.

The pro-life organization’s report exposed the university’s horrific practices of harvesting aborted babies’ clitorises, testicles, penises and other organs. The information came from documents that Pro-Life San Francisco obtained through the California Public Records Act.

It was a walk down memory lane when a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) doctor at Franciscan Health in Lafayette, Indiana, welcomed the department’s newest nurse — who had once been a premature baby under the doctor’s own care.

Dr. Rosario Chua is the medical director of the NICU at Franciscan Health, and has been working as a NICU specialist for 30 years. When Megan Milakis was born prematurely 23 years ago, Chua was the physician who helped care for her. Today the two are working side by side.

“Obviously there are some patients that you never forget,” Chua told WLFI.

Tucson Planned Parenthood has closed ‘until further notice’

Tucson Planned Parenthood has closed ‘until further notice’

Southern Arizona Regional Health Center Planned Parenthood in Tucson, Arizona, is now closed “until further notice,” according to Operation Rescue and the abortion facility’s website.

This facility committed surgical abortion up to 16 weeks (four months) of pregnancy, and also dispenses the abortion pill. Planned Parenthood spent at least $500,000 renovating the facility with new security features about three years ago, said pro-life activist Bob Pawson — which means it may not stay closed for long. Operation Rescue reported that the facility appears to be planning to reopen in August, yet the online appointment booking feature on the website is disabled.

Assisted Suicide Activist Wants to Euthanize Patients to Harvest Their Organs

In promoting her recently published book titled: The Inevitable – Dispatches on the Right to Die (St. Martin’s Press, 2021), Katie Englehart questions the “limits” set by assisted suicide laws in the United States.

We have known for many years that the assisted suicide lobby limited expansion of assisted suicide in the states where it is legal in order to claim that their is no slippery slope.

Englehart directly challenges the limits of US assisted suicide laws while promoting her book. She writes the following in her Good Death Society Blog:

Away from the public eye, new questions about the practice of physician-assisted death continue to emerge.

Doctors ask mother in labor if she wants her baby with Down syndrome to be left to die

Having a child with Down syndrome has seemingly become more difficult than ever in New Zealand, as parents are put under immense pressure to have an abortion after a prenatal diagnosis. A new investigative article for Stuff alleges that the medical industry is actively leading parents to choose abortion.

Karen Loo recounted her experience for Stuff, which began with excitement that quickly turned to fear at her 12-week ultrasound. There, it was discovered that her preborn baby had a thick nuchal fold, or the fold on the back of the neck — a common marker for Down syndrome.

“They almost broke me”

“I was completely overwhelmed,” she said.

Democrats are So Extreme on Abortion, They Voted to Make You Fund Killing Babies

Democrats are So Extreme on Abortion, They Voted to Make You Fund Killing Babies

On Thursday, the House Committee on Appropriations met for the markup of FY2022 appropriations bills. Noticeably absent were any Hyde Amendment provisions in the budget language.

During today’s markup, Representative Tom Cole (R-Okla.) noted, “The most egregious aspect of the bill presented today is the removal of the Hyde Amendment, which protects lives and prohibits taxpayer funding of abortion.”

Representative Cole introduced an amendment to restore the Hyde Amendment language which failed in a nearly straight party-line vote. All Republican members of the committee voted for the amendment as did one Democrat, Henry Cuellar of Texas. All other Democrat members of the committee voted against the amendment.

If You Only Read One Article This Month, READ THIS ONE! – Former Planned Parenthood Staffer: We Pushed Sex Ed on Kids to Create a Market for Abortion

A former Planned Parenthood sex education volunteer praised the Iowa Supreme Court last week for allowing the state to kick the abortion chain out of a sex education grant program.

Christianity Daily reports Monica Cline stopped working with Planned Parenthood several years ago after becoming disgusted by its unethical practices. Now, she makes it her mission to help parents and others understand how the abortion chain encourages young children to engage in risky sexual behavior that eventually could lead to abortion.

Speaking with EWTN Pro-Life Weekly, Cline said the Iowa Supreme Court was right to uphold a 2019 state law that disqualifies abortion providers from taxpayer-funded sex education grants.

A Message from Archbishop Lori: Support the Hyde Amendment

A Message from Archbishop Lori: Support the Hyde Amendment

by Karl Pieleck

July 12, 2021   Dear Friends in Christ,

In the coming days, Congress will either support or defeat the longstanding pro-life Hyde Amendment. For more than four decades, with bipartisan support, this amendment has prevented tax dollars from funding elective abortions. This amendment has saved countless lives of unborn children and it is imperative we continue to support it.

During this critical time, let us join in prayer for the protection of the unborn. But let us also, as citizens and believers, raise our voices to protect the most defenseless of human beings, the unborn child. Let us stand together in promoting the sanctity of life.

Catholic Church Removes Priest Who Said Catholics Shouldn’t Vote for Pro-Abortion Democrats

A Wisconsin priest who attracted national controversy for telling Catholics to reject the Democratic Party because of its radical pro-abortion stance has been removed from ministry.

On Friday, the Diocese of La Crosse announced a decree from Bishop William Callahan for the removal of Father James Altman, the Catholic News Agency reports.

“The obligation of a bishop is to ensure that all who serve the faithful are able to do so while unifying and building the Body of Christ,” the diocese said in a statement. “Bishop William Patrick Callahan, in accordance with the norms of canon law, has issued a decree for the removal of Fr.

Pro-Abortion Groups Promise to Break Any Laws Banning Abortion if Roe v. Wade is Overturned

Just like pro-life advocates, abortion activists also are preparing for the end of Roe v. Wade and restored protections for unborn babies.

But while pro-lifers are ramping up efforts to support mothers and babies, abortion activists are planning ways to break the law and provide illegal abortions.

“Driven underground during the pandemic, online abortion providers say they’ll keep supplying pills and services even if the Supreme Court approves state bans,” Politico reported this week.

The U.S. Supreme Court stoked hopes and fears this spring when it agreed to hear a major abortion case out of Mississippi. The case, Dobbs v.

Pastor Fights Back After Washington State Forces His Church to Pay for Abortions

Pastor Jay and Sandy Smith know how tempting an abortion can be after the shock of an unplanned pregnancy.

The Washington state couple learned that they were expecting their first child when they were teenagers. At the time, they were youth leaders at their church, unmarried and making plans to go to college.

“That baby posed a terrible threat to our reputation and all our carefully made plans,” Jay Smith wrote at Real Clear Religion last week.

For a brief moment, they considered an abortion, but they rejected the idea and decided to get married and raise their daughter instead.
