Abortion activists have yelled in Father Fidelis Moscinski’s face and try to block him from reaching out to women considering abortion. They have interrupted Mass and prayers for the unborn, and targeted him as the leader of a monthly pro-life march in New York City.

But the Franciscan priest recently told EWTN that he will not stop advocating for the unborn because nearly 300 unborn babies are aborted every single day in New York state.

The Catholic News Agency reports Moscinski helped to lead a Witness for Life prayer procession on July 10 when abortion activists with the group New York City for Abortion Rights blocked their walk and harassed the pro-lifers.

What do most European nations have in common with Mississippi? Commonsense limitations on elective abortion performed in the second and third trimesters.

Surprised? While American elites often look to Europe for social policy guidance, a new study by the Charlotte Lozier Institute shows 47 out of 50 European nations limit elective abortion at or before 15 weeks of gestation. In the United States, 0 out of 50 states have enforceable limits on abortion at 15 weeks.

So, who is following the policy example from Europe – pro-life legislators in Mississippi, or politicians in Washington who support abortion on demand until term?

Nothing kills more people than abortion. Nothing.

Half way through 2021, the world-wide abortion numbers already are mind-boggling. Worldometer, which keeps a running tally of various statistics, reported 24.2 million abortions so far this year. The total is based on data from the World Health Organization.

Scientists overwhelmingly confirm that a unique, living human being comes into existence at the moment of conception. And an abortion intentionally kills that human being – a valuable, irreplaceable child.

Yet, little attention is given to preventing or even acknowledging these babies’ deaths. Quite the opposite, saving unborn babies from abortion is considered highly controversial, and pro-life advocates constantly are disparaged for their work.

Planned Parenthood has repeatedly (and incorrectly) argued that abortion makes up “only 3%” of its “services.” But a new book from the former head of the organization suggests that it dictates their direction 100%.

In her memoir published on July 27, Dr. Leana Wen details her time spent as president of the nation’s largest abortion provider: Planned Parenthood. Wen offers readers an insider’s view of the organization’s obsession with abortion in “Lifelines: A Doctor’s Journey in the Fight for Public Health.” Among other things, she says she was told to say “abortion” in “every media interview.” Someone else also warned her that “If we don’t talk about abortion openly, loudly, and proudly, as a positive moral good, then we are further stigmatizing it.”

The University of California Board of Regents voted in June to end its affiliations with Catholic medical providers and other pro-life medical groups, despite warnings that the change could cut off healthcare to 35,000 people.

The University of California is taxpayer funded. Its UC Health program runs healthcare facilities and hospitals across the state in partnership with several Catholic medical groups.

According to The College Fix, the board voted in June not to renew agreements with Catholic and other medical providers that refuse to provide elective abortions and other ethically troubling services. It also banned UC Health from entering future agreements with these healthcare providers; the decision will take effect in 2023.

Last Thursday, two months after the U.S. Supreme Court agreed to hear what could be the most significant challenge to Roe v. Wade to date, Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch submitted a brief clarifying how this case could impact the abortion debate. “Under the Constitution,” she wrote, “may a State prohibit elective abortions before viability? Yes. Why? Because nothing in constitutional text, structure, history, or tradition supports a right to abortion.”

This case goes back to 2018, when the Mississippi legislature passed the Gestational Age Act, which limited abortion after 15 weeks to only those pregnancies involving health emergencies or fetal abnormalities.

The abortion industry really is getting aggressive about selling abortion drugs to women and girls.

Though abortion numbers have been dropping steadily across the U.S., abortion pills are being used to abort more and more unborn babies. Many expect the number will grow after President Joe Biden’s administration began allowing abortion drugs to be sold through the mail without the woman ever seeing a doctor in person – a huge gift to the abortion industry.

Popular women’s magazines and websites basically have been giving free advertising to the abortion industry, too, touting the abortion pills as “very safe” and effective.

BuzzFeed, for example, recently published a list of “14 things you should know about the abortion pill” based on comments from Melissa Grant, chief operating officer of the abortion chain Carafem.

Catholic priests keep giving Communion to President Joe Biden despite his stubborn, unrepentant actions to promote and increase the killing of unborn babies in abortions.

According to a report published at California Catholic Daily, Biden received Communion again on July 24 at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Catholic Church in Wilmington, Delaware, his home parish.

The president professes to be a devout Catholic, but his administration has adopted the most radical pro-abortion policies in U.S. history. Not only did Biden recently allow abortion drugs to be sold through the mail without a doctor’s visit, he also is trying to force taxpayers to pay for elective abortions in Medicaid and in other countries.

Rep. Joseph Morelle (D-NY) took to the House floor Wednesday to argue for taxpayer dollars to kill babies. Morelle claimed it was a constitutional right and compared it with free speech and choosing a religion.

“I do note that in my home state of New York, we’ve made the decision for many years to support women in poverty who seek reproductive rights,” Morelle said.

“Rights are granted to us under the Constitution. Those rights are as fundamental as any other right guaranteed to us under the Constitution. But we don’t have economic tests for rights in the United States. So if you have a right, you have a right.”

By executive order, President Biden reversed the Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance policy, which was a reiteration and expansion of President Ronald Reagan’s Mexico City policy.

Announced by Ronald Reagan at the UN conference on population growth in Mexico City in 1984—hence its name—the policy was designed to ensure that U.S. taxpayer money was not funneled to foreign non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that perform or promote abortion except in cases of rape, incest or to save the life of the mother.

Commissioners in a Florida county that is considering an abortion ban just approved funding to help local mothers in need.

On Tuesday, as pro-abortion protesters gathered outside the Manatee County Administration Building yelling and holding signs that read “Invest in community, not misogyny” and “Keep abortion legal,” inside the Manatee County Commissioners took action to help pregnant mothers and their babies.

Mark Lee Dickson, director with Right to Life of East Texas and leader of the Sanctuary City for the Unborn initiative, attended the meeting. He said the commissioners voted 5-1 to give $100,000 to help pregnant mothers receive prenatal care through Solve Maternity Homes and Care Net Manasota Pregnancy Center.
