The Satanic Temple’s fight against Missouri’s abortion law is finally over

by Administrator

The battle the Satanic Temple (TST) has waged for years against the state of Missouri is finally at an end. After attempting to convince the courts to overturn the state’s pro-life laws, the Supreme Court refused to hear the Temple’s case.

The announcement was released by the Supreme Court late last month, refusing to grant certiorari, meaning there weren’t enough justices on the Supreme Court who felt the case merited a review of previous court rulings. The Satanic Temple first filed a lawsuit attempting to overturn Missouri’s 72-hour waiting period law in 2018, which was dismissed by the Eighth Circuit Court.

Doctor Calls Abortion the “Greatest Universal Genocide” Facing Humanity

A leading health authority in Argentina accidentally made a strong statement about the atrocity of abortion this week while defending a bill that would legalize the killing of unborn babies across the South American country.

Church Militant reports Dr. Ginés González García, the minister of health for Argentina, said abortions would be the “greatest universal genocide” in the world if there were two lives involved – something he denied.

“Here there are not two lives as [pro-lifers] say,” he told lawmakers Tuesday. “Here it is clearly just one life and the other is a phenomenon … it is one person and the other is a phenomenon … I repeat, that it seems to me that [the language] is not used properly … if it were not, we would be witnessing the greatest universal genocide.”

Modern Day Eugenics: Who Lives and Who Dies?

In the early 20th century, eugenics was widely supported among the educated classes all across the West. Eugenicists fancied themselves benefactors of the human race, putting to use the most cutting-edge science to eradicate human suffering, and to “improve” the human race.

By giving nature a helping hand, carefully encouraging the reproduction of the “fittest” members of the human race, and discouraging the reproduction of the “unfit,” eugenicists believed they could rapidly create a race of strong, healthy, and super-intelligent human beings. No longer would the state and society be burdened with “moral degenerates” (the memorable term used by eugenicist Margaret Sanger), the mentally disabled, and those prone to costly and painful diseases.

Thousands march in Argentina to protest country’s efforts to legalize abortion

As Argentina’s president promised to pass a bill legalizing abortion by the end of the year, thousands of pro-life Argentinians marched in Buenos Aires in protest.

The Buenos Aires Times reported that participants gathered at the National Congress building, where legislators will begin debating President Alberto Fernández’s bill. The bill would make abortion legal through the first 14 weeks of pregnancy. Protestors carried signs which read “Save Both Lives!” and “March for the Unborn,” while waving sky-blue flags, the color signifying pro-life in Argentina. Organizers also said participants wore masks and practiced social distancing, in keeping with recommendations during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

An OB/GYN speaks: The ‘no-test’ abortion pill protocol experiments with women’s health

Disclaimer: The opinions expressed in this guest post are solely those of the author and are not necessarily reflective of Live Action or Live Action News.

A trend of mounting concern is occurring in abortion provision. When elective induced abortion was legalized in the United States, one frequently cited motivation was that legalization would improve abortion’s safety, as it was frequently claimed that many women were injured and sometimes died from illegal abortions.

Recently, abortion advocates have changed their strategy.

Whereas once they claimed they wanted abortion to be “safe, legal and rare,” now they favor immediate access and convenience to abortion for all women experiencing unintended pregnancies, regardless of whether it might be more dangerous for a woman.

UN agency wants to force controversial sex-ed on all children

(Washington, D.C. – C-Fam) With students around the world struggling to continue their education in the midst of the pandemic, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has published a guidance document to ensure they receive the UN’s controversial sex education, wherever they are.

The new document “complements and refers to” the controversial technical guidance on “comprehensive sexuality education” (CSE) that was published in 2018 by UNESCO. Despite the fact that “comprehensive sexuality education” was rejected by the General Assembly, and widespread opposition to it in countries and local communities, UNFPA has set out to ensure children receive it no matter what.

Abortions Drop to Lowest Levels Since Roe v. Wade as More Babies are Saved

If success is measured by a decline in abortion numbers, the pro-life movement has something to celebrate.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regularly publishes its annual Abortion Surveillance report around the Thanksgiving holiday. Because of the timing, it often goes unnoticed by the media – but it shouldn’t. The report compiles U.S. abortion data, or the “number and characteristics of women obtaining legal induced abortions and number of abortion-related deaths.” This year’s report released new numbers for 2017 and 2018 that showed an overall decrease in abortion. That’s something that pro-life Americans should celebrate, even if the numbers don’t tell the full story.

HOUSE UPDATE: Pro-life Women Keep Winning

“A record 29 pro-life women will serve in the House of Representatives in the next Congress: continued proof that life is winning in America,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “These pro-life champions will serve as a brick wall against the radical pro-abortion agenda of Speaker Pelosi and pro-abortion Democrats dead set on taking out even modest protections for pro-life Americans such as the Hyde Amendment and similar legacy riders.

Hundreds of Health Care Workers Speak Out Against Abortions: “Women and Children Deserve Better”

Nearly 300 healthcare workers across Northern Ireland urged leaders to resist the pressure to legalize dangerous at-home abortions in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Catholic Universe reports 277 medical workers signed the open letter to Northern Ireland Minister of Health Robin Swann, warning that the do-it-yourself abortions are “unsafe and unacceptable.”

“Women and children in Northern Ireland deserve better care than these unsafe and unacceptable ‘at-home’ abortion schemes provide,” they wrote.

England began allowing do-it-yourself abortions with the abortion drugs mifepristone and misoprostol in March. Since then, reports of women dying and a baby being born alive after its mother took the abortion drugs have surfaced.
