Elizabeth Warren Celebrates Massachusetts Voting for Abortions Up to Birth: “I’m Proud”

by Administrator

Sen. Elizabeth Warren celebrated Wednesday when Massachusetts lawmakers voted to legalize the killing of unborn babies for basically any reason up to birth in their state.

A pro-abortion amendment to the state budget passed the House last week and the Senate on Wednesday. Among other things, it would expand late-term abortions and allow young girls to abort their unborn babies with their parents’ knowledge or consent.

Warren, a pro-abortion Democrat from Massachusetts who ran for president earlier this year, said she was “proud” of her state for expanding abortions, the New Boston Post reports.

“I’m proud of the Massachusetts House and Senate for passing the #RoeAct to protect and improve abortion access in the Commonwealth,” she wrote on Twitter.

In Ireland, Babies are Being Born Alive After Abortion and Left to Die

Babies in Ireland may be surviving late-term abortions and being abandoned to die under the nation’s new abortion law, according to a new study.

Published in the journal BJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, the study provides a horrific glimpse at how unborn babies are being legally aborted in Ireland.

“In Ireland, several babies have already been born alive after abortion and left to die, admits a new study,” David Quinn, director of The Iona Institute, wrote Tuesday on Twitter. “This will cause absolutely no controversy, no heart-rending national debate, no questioning of what we have wrought.”

Ireland voted to repeal its Eighth Amendment, which granted unborn babies a right to life, in 2018.

Thailand moves to legalize abortion despite it violating a key Buddhist teaching

Backlash is expected from Thailand’s Christian leaders, and abortion is also considered to be a violation of a key tenet of Buddhist teaching, which requires that people refrain from killing since Buddhists believe that aborting a child is denying a soul the opportunity to be reincarnated

Abortion staff lied about fetal development, refused to show woman her baby’s ultrasound

by Administrator

In a book of stories from post-abortive women and men, Amanda M. wrote about being deceived by a worker at the facility where she had her abortion. Left in the waiting room for a long period of time, Amanda says that an abortion worker finally came to get her for an ultrasound. According to Amanda, “She said they had to check the size of ‘it’.” She says:

I got undressed and put on the gown. I lay down on the table and she put the cold goo on my stomach. The room was cold and gray, it made me feel uneasy and like I didn’t want to be in there.

18 States Come Together to Support Pro-Life Law Saving Babies From Abortion

by Administrator

Back in July, NRL News Today posted multiple stories on the passage in Tennessee of a multi-faceted pro-life measure that, among other provisions, banned abortions except to save the mother’s life

  • If the doctor knows that the woman is seeking an abortion because of the child’s sex or race.
  • If the doctor knows the woman is seeking an abortion due to a diagnosis of Down syndrome.
  • After the point a fetal heartbeat can be detected

The ink was not dry on the pen Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee used to sign House Bill 2263 before the usual-usuals challenged the law. A clearly-sympathetic U.S. District Judge William Campbell immediately granted a temporary restraining order at the request of Planned Parenthood, the American Civil Liberties Union and other abortion rights groups.

Canada’s Maclean’s magazine has been running a series of articles on aspects of life turned upside down in the chaos of 2020. On their list of “14 things 2020 proved wrong” is the assumption that “Canada values its seniors” – not to mention younger disabled people who also live in congregate care settings.

Author Christina Frangiou’s piece begins on a jarring note, quoting a nurse in a Toronto-area hospital who called octogenarian Mary Wilton “a waste of space” while caring for her in the summer of 2019.

Ninth Mississippi city declares itself a ‘sanctuary’ for the preborn

by Administrator

(Life Site News) Preborn children are now one step closer to being safer in Mississippi as yet another city has declared itself a place where children are “safe” from abortion.

Pro-life Pastor Ryan Sullivan of Grace Community Church in Jackson, Mississippi, and Les Riley, president of Personhood Mississippi, are part of a movement that has now successfully designated nine Mississippi cities as “safe” for the preborn. The latest and ninth city to be counted as a safe city is Richland.

A Safe City designation means an official resolution has been declared that recognizes the rights of pre-born humans and “the duty of the local jurisdiction to provide equal protection, from conception to natural death.”

Tennessee Court of Appeals upholds law banning abortions for Down Syndrome

On Friday, the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals handed down a ruling allowing a portion of Tennessee’s 2020 pro-life legislation, signed into law by Governor Bill Lee, to take effect. The Court ruled on parts of the legislation that are collectively referred to as the “reason bans” because they prohibit abortions for certain reasons. Those reasons include aborting due to a prenatal diagnosis of Down Syndrome, or because the preborn child is not the gender or race that the mother or both parents wanted. The abortion providers’ lawsuit requested an injunction preventing the enforcement of the reason bans while the case was being litigated.

Who really wants to die? Part VII: The justification of Canadian-style euthanasia is not to be found in any rational dynamic of market economics

As a general principle, the means taken to address an issue should be proportional to the issue itself. We do not, for instance, use a baseball bat to swat a fly.

The specific point of this series of articles has been to demonstrate that there is very little organic consumer demand for euthanasia as compared to the scale as it is currently being developed and marketed in Canada.

A November 17 webcast hosted by 40 Days for Life announced the results of the organization’s fall 2020 international campaign — its largest 40 Days for Life campaign to date. 40 Days for Life president Shawn Carney noted in an email to supporters on Wednesday that the global event had a record-high 588 vigil sites in 36 countries this fall, including the first-ever vigils held in Cuba and Honduras. In all, 757 babies and their mothers are known to have been saved from the tragedy of abortion, an abortion business closed, and four abortion workers quit as a result of this most recent fall campaign.

Federal Appeals Court Rules Tennessee Can Ban Abortions on Babies With Down Syndrome

A federal appeals court gave the state of Tennessee great news late Friday when it issued a ruling that the Volunteer State can ban abortions done specifically because a baby has Down syndrome.

Earlier this year, Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee signed a broad pro-life law to protect unborn babies from abortions once their heartbeats are detectable.

Though the legislation is described as a heartbeat bill, it includes many different measures to protect unborn babies. The law passed the state legislature in June, and pro-life lawmakers said they wrote the bill to withstand a legal challenge.

The heartbeat portion of the bill prohibits abortions once an unborn baby’s heartbeat is detectable, about six weeks of pregnancy.

UC Berkeley apologizes for using money from 40-year old research fund promoting eugenics

UC Berkeley apologizes for using money from 40-year old research fund promoting eugenics

When UC Berkeley bioethics professor Osagie K. Obasogie received a staff email in 2018 notifying him about the availability of research funds from the “Genealogical Eugenic Institute Fund,” he was reportedly shocked. The Fund was offering the University hundreds of thousands of dollars a year for “research and support” relating to “family planning, infertility, assisted reproduction technologies, prenatal screening, abortion, gene editing and gene modification” and came from a family trust to the University of California Board of Regents in 1975. Eventually, it was allocated to the Berkeley campus’ School of Public Health. According to Professor Obasogie, the $2.4 million fund’s stated purpose was “the improvement of the human race through research and education in that field generally known as eugenics.”

Canada’s parliament is currently debating Bill C-7, a bill to expand (MAiD) euthanasia in Canada to people who are not dying.

Even though Bill C-7 is not yet passed,  CTV News Medical Correspondent, Avis Favaro, reported that Nancy Russell, a 90-year-old long-term care resident, who was not chronically ill or dying, died last month by euthanasia (MAiD) to avoid living through another COVID-19 lock-down.

Favaro reports:

Across Canada, long-term care homes and retirement homes are seeing rising cases of COVID-19 and deaths yet again, a worrisome trend that is leading to more restrictions for the residents.

16 Pro-Life Women Were Elected to Congress, 7 Took Seats From Pro-Abortion Democrats

Move over, Nancy Pelosi: Pro-life women are driving the new Republican surge in Congress – an unmistakable rebuke to Democrats’ radical abortion agenda.

With several races still too close to call, the number of newly elected pro-life women is up to 16. Seven of these candidates flipped seats held by pro-abortion Democrats. The group includes the first Iranian American elected to Congress, a member of the Cherokee nation, a daughter of Cuban exiles, and a first-generation Korean American, showing that the life issue brings a diverse coalition together. Including incumbents, the total number of pro-life women in the House now stands at 27.

South Dakota is Almost Abortion Free, Abortions Only Done One Day a Month

by Administrator

The last abortion facility in South Dakota is struggling to keep its doors open.

Sarah Stoesz, who runs the Planned Parenthood in Sioux Falls, told CBS News recently that they are only doing abortions once a month, and she does not know how long that will continue.

Though biased, the report included signs of hope for the future of unborn babies. It’s clear that pro-life laws and efforts like 40 Days for Life are making an impact in South Dakota – and saving lives.

South Dakota is one of only five states with one abortion facility, according to the report. The others are Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota and West Virginia.

Gruesome-Irish Doctors: We “Kill” Late-Term Unborn Babies by “Stabbing Them in the Heart”

by Administrator

A shocking study about Ireland’s new abortion law provides gruesome details about how unborn babies are being stabbed in the heart with a poisonous solution so painful that even the American Veterinary Medical Association advises anesthesia for animals being euthanized.

Yet, no such protections exist under Irish law for unborn babies who are capable of feeling pain, pro-life leaders in the country said this week.

Published in the journal BJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, the study interviewed 10 Irish doctors who do late-term abortions. They admitted to researchers that they “kill” unborn babies in “brutal” procedures that involve stabbing them in their hearts.

Pro-Life Children’s Book “When You Became You” Teaches Kids That Life Begins at Conception

Teaching little children when life begins is not only vital to helping them understand the morality of life issues, it’s also fundamental in fighting progressive ideology taught to children in schools, authors Brooke Stanton and Christiane West said in an interview with the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“We can have an impact now on elementary school children and long-term impact on the culture, on the crisis of human life,” West told the DCNF. “Having a book that starts them off correctly and hopefully keeps them protected against false information later is part of the goal of this book as well.”

Stanton and West co-founded Contend Projects, a “secular, nonpartisan, science education nonprofit with the mission to spread accurate information and awareness about the biological science of human embryology and when a human being begins to exist.”

Doctors in Ireland are Letting Babies Die if They’re Born Alive After an Abortion

by Administrator

Pro-life supporters have reacted with shock and deep sadness to the disclosures in a new study laying bare the truly horrifying impact of the new abortion law in Ireland.

The study, published in the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, is based on interviews with 10 doctors involved in performing abortions in Ireland. It quotes the doctors talking about the “brutal”, “awful” reality of what they do, with one doctor describing “stabbing the baby in the heart”, while another medic talks about getting physically sick in the corridor after performing an abortion. It also quotes doctors talking about what they do in situations when a baby is born alive after a failed abortion.

I received the following message from a Canadian psychiatrist who gave permission to publish it.

From the diary of the lived experience of a psychiatrist:

“I spent over 4 hours on Tuesday night talking a chronically suicidal patient out of jumping off a bridge after multiple suicide attempts in the past two months, and convinced her to meet me at the hospital to get treatment that she needed to stay stable.
