Texas Can Defund Planned Parenthood, Which Kills Unborn Babies and Sells Their Body Parts

Yesterday, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit ruled 11-5 that Texas can disqualify Planned Parenthood from the state’s Medicaid program. The favorable ruling follows a 2015 lawsuit when Texas stopped Planned Parenthood from receiving Medicaid reimbursements after undercover videos revealed the abortion giant trafficked baby body parts.

In their most recently reported fiscal year, Planned Parenthood received $616.8 million in government funding nationally, approximately 90% of which came from Medicaid reimbursements. Medicaid providers in Texas are required to follow Texas Medicaid policies and federal and state law. The Texas Office of the Inspector General (OIG) found Planned Parenthood violated federal regulations by altering abortion procedures to harvest baby body parts.

Joe Biden Wants to Codify Roe v. Wade to Permanently Keep Abortions Legal Up to Birth

Assuming Joe Biden is chosen as president next month by the Electoral College, he will pose a problem for the bishops. Indeed, the head of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), Archbishop José Gomez, indicated this week that the bishops are already beset by Biden. If Biden were a Protestant, it would not complicate matters for the bishops, but he is a baptized Catholic.

At the USCCB meeting this week, Gomez said there were some policies, such as immigration, where Biden’s “faith commitments will move him to support some good policies.” But there are other issues, such as abortion, which Gomez stressed is “our preeminent priority,” where Biden deviates sharply from Catholic teachings.

Black Pro-Life Leader: “The Entire Abortion Industry is Racist and Eugenicist”

by Administrator

The abortion industry is rooted in eugenics, the false notion that certain races and groups of people are less valuable than others, African pro-life leader Obianuju Ekeocha told Breitbart this week.

Ekeocha, president of Culture of Life Africa, criticized two of the largest abortion chains in the world for their surface-level attempts to prove to society that they are not racist.

“It is not enough to distance themselves from their eugenic roots, the entire abortion industry is still very much racist and eugenicist in their practices,” she said.

Earlier this week, Marie Stopes International changed its name to MSI Reproductive Choices to attempt to distance itself from its founder’s discriminatory eugenic beliefs.

A book intended to help people hurt by abortion featured the story of Kay, who was coerced by her mother into an abortion at age 16. When Kay first learned she was pregnant, she wanted to abort. But then she spoke to a friend, who convinced her to choose life for her baby. Kay began to look forward to the birth of her child and adjust to the idea of being a mother. But when she told her own mother, the woman flew into a rage and demanded that Kay have an abortion. Kay says:

My resolve [to have the baby] quickly dissolved in the face of my mother’s wrath.

Nebraska Bans Dismemberment Abortions Tearing Babies Limb From Limb

by Administrator

It’s not often the Abortion Industry fails to challenge a piece of pro-life legislation–no matter how popular or commonsensical it is– but that’s what just happened in Nebraska.

Martha Stoddard, of the Omaha World-Herald, reported yesterday that LB 814, a law that prohibits the dismemberment of living unborn babies, went into effect last week.

As for a response from abortionists, we read

No legal challenges have been filed in Nebraska. A spokeswoman for Planned Parenthood North Central States, which covers Nebraska, said the organization has no plans for litigation.

“Planned Parenthood is proud to provide our patients with high-quality, nonjudgmental reproductive health care, and that will not change with this new law,” Emily Bisek said.

Ben Watson Slams Abortion: Killing Unborn Babies is “Not Justice”

by Administrator

Former NFL star Benjamin Watson criticized Georgia senate candidate Raphael Warnock last week for describing the killing of unborn babies in abortions as “reproductive justice.”

Watson, a former New England Patriots tight end and Super Bowl champion, is a passionate advocate for life. He responded quickly after Warnock, who is trying to unseat pro-life U.S. Sen. Kelly Loeffler, defended his pro-abortion stance on Twitter, the Washington Times reports.

“I will always fight for reproductive justice,” Warnock, a pastor, wrote Nov. 17.

Watson responded by telling the pastor that there is nothing just about killing a son or daughter in an abortion.

I hate to say that we were right but Canada’s law did not prevent euthanasia for mental illness.

Alan Nichols died by euthanasia for mental illness in 2019

Parliament is currently debating Bill C-7, a bill to expand Canada’s euthanasia law.

During the debate on Bill C-14 (2016) we argued that the lack of definition in the bill would enable the law to be continuously expanded by doctors who support euthanasia.

Joan Bryden published an article for CP Press on November 22 titled: Exclusion of mental illness in assisted dying bill slammed by psychiatrists.

Mom of Boy With Down Syndrome: Doctors Would Only Support Me if I Chose Abortion

If Lorraine Buckmaster had listened to her doctors, her family would have had a lot less joy in life.

Six years ago, the British mom refused to abort her unborn son Jaxon because he might have Down syndrome. She recently told the BBC that Jaxon is the “little comedian” of the family, and they expect he may become an entertainer someday.

But, like so many other families, the Buckmasters experience discrimination against their son before he was born.

Lorraine said she was 45 years old when she became pregnant with Jaxon, and, because of her age, she was at a higher risk of carrying a baby with Down syndrome.

Use of Pfizer, Moderna COVID-19 vaccines is morally acceptable, say bishops

by Administrator

WASHINGTON (CNS) — While confusion has arisen in recent days in the media over “the moral permissibility” of using the COVID-19 vaccines just announced by Pfizer Inc. and Moderna, it is not “immoral to be vaccinated with them,” the chairmen of the U.S. bishops’ doctrine and pro-life committees said Nov. 23.

Bishop Kevin J. Rhoades of Fort Wayne-South Bend, Indiana, chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on Doctrine, and Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann of Kansas City, Kansas, chairman of the USCCB Committee on Pro-Life Activities, addressed the issue in a memo to their brother bishops.

A copy of the memo was obtained by Catholic News Service Nov.

SBA List Statement on 5th Circuit Ruling to Defund Planned Parenthood of Medicaid Funding

“This ruling is a huge victory in the battle to stop taxpayer funding of America’s biggest abortion business – Planned Parenthood,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “The core mission of Planned Parenthood is to destroy innocent human life, the antithesis to real healthcare. We thank pro-life leaders in Texas and Louisiana for working tirelessly to disentangle taxpayer dollars from the abortion industry.”

Illinois abortion business with history of botched abortions injures two women in two days

by Administrator

An abortion facility near the Illinois-Missouri border injured two women within just days of each other, the latest in a disturbing string of seemingly botched abortions and dangerous behavior.

According to Operation Rescue, the first emergency took place on October 15th at the Hope Clinic for Women in Granite City, Illinois. Instead of being transported to the Gateway Regional Medical Center hospital emergency room across the street, the injured woman was loaded into an ambulance, which took her to an unknown location.

“[W]e saw an ambulance drive into the front of the Hope Clinic parking lot. Then, a few minutes later, we saw a young woman being wheeled out on a gurney through the front door of the clinic.

The City Council of Lubbock, the 11th largest city in Texas, has unanimously voted against an ordinance to outlaw abortion within their city limits. Texas Senator Charles Perry and Texas Representatives Dustin Burrows and John Frullo had sent a letter on August 25th to Mayor Dan Pope, encouraging him to pass an ordinance similar to one passed in 14 other cities throughout Texas. Since that ordinance was given to the Mayor of Lubbock, the cities of New Home and Morton voted to adopt the ordinance, becoming the 15th and 16th cities to outlaw abortion in the nation.

Abortionist Surrenders His Medical License, He Can Never Kill Babies in Abortions Again

by Administrator

A dangerous California abortionist who was responsible for hospitalizing six women with life-threatening complications within a nine-month period of time in 2017, has entered an agreement to surrender his medical license, effective November 25, 2020.

Donald Clyde Willis was employed at the FPA Women’s Health abortion facility in Bakersfield, California, at the time of the abortion-related emergencies.

Operation Rescue filed a formal complaint with the California Medical Board (CMB) against Willis on October 3, 2017 — the same day that the sixth medical emergency took place.  An Operation Rescue staff member was interviewed by a Medical Board investigator regarding the case, which led to a formal accusation against Willis related to three of the injured women.

Study: Abortion survivors are being left to die in Ireland

by Administrator

A new study reveals that doctors in Ireland are having difficulties committing late-term abortions, in part because some of the babies are accidentally surviving the procedure meant to kill them. Gript.ie reports that there is a growing divide between abortionists and neonatologists in the country because of the very nature of abortion itself. The outlet states:

To understand the very natural reluctance of many doctors to embrace late-term abortion and feticide, it is important to also understand what is being performed. According to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) feticide is carried out after 21 weeks and 6 days of gestation to ensure that there is no risk of a live birth.

Catholic Bishops Launch Taskforce to Hold Biden Accountable for Promoting Abortion

by Administrator

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops announced Tuesday that it will form a task force to address policy by President-elect Joe Biden that contradicts Catholic teaching.

The task force will be headed by Detroit Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron of Detroit, according to the Catholic News Service, and will be specifically focused on addressing Biden’s actions as the first Catholic president since John F. Kennedy, as Biden supports policies explicitly opposed to Catholic teaching, such as abortion.

USCCB president Archbishop José H. Gomez of Los Angeles announced the formation of the working group Tuesday at an annual conference of American Catholic bishops, noting that “we are facing a unique moment in the history of our country.”

Massachusetts House and Senate approve budget with amendments to codify abortion as a ‘right’

by Administrator

UPDATE 11/19/2020: The Massachusetts Senate has passed the $46 million proposed budget including Amendment 180 which aims to expand abortion. The Senate approved the budget in a vote of 33-7 with an amendment that would legalize eugenic abortion after 24 weeks for “fatal fetal anomalies.” Currently, the law allows for abortion after 24 weeks for the health of the mother though abortion is never medically necessary. The amendment also lowers the age at which a teenager would need parental consent to undergo an abortion. Currently, anyone under 18 needs parental or judicial consent for an abortion. The amendment would change that to anyone under the age of 16.

Pro-life activists arrested outside Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital

by Administrator

Pro-life activists were arrested Tuesday outside of Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, where first and second-trimester abortions are committed and the bodies of aborted children are used for research at the University of California San Francisco.

Terrisa Bukovinac, executive director of Pro-Life San Francisco, Lauren Handy of Red Rose Rescue, and other pro-lifers including Cheryl Conrad of the Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, were protesting outside of the hospital when they were arrested. The activists were charged with trespassing, but claim they were on public property.

“This morning a group of us were arrested outside Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital because we refused to comply to an unlawful order of dispersement… for interrupting a business,” Handy wrote on Facebook.
